Dharmajuddha

This is a film based on the current political situation in ghe name of Dharma , which participate in instigating the riots.

Story - Due to a riot that broke out in a small village Islampur, four persons (two women and two men) took shelter to safeguard themselves from Riot. They enter one by one in the House of an old Women. Out of four, one male and one female are Hindu and another are Muslim. They share their old memories regarding Hindu and Muslim relationship in the village and how sudden, the behavior of both religion's people change due to political infiltration which turns into a riot. It's a one night story.

Unfortunately, the film's direction is flexible, with weak cinematography and music.

Four flash backs have been used very weakly in the film.

On the whole, It can be said that the film has no powerful impact on the Audiences inspite of good acting by almost Characters and Good Content .

Pathetic direction. Raj chakrabarty clearly does not know when to give up. Acting was lazy and uncoordinated. Plot was meaningless and looked contrived. Propaganda being marketed as a movie. Disappointed.

Dharmajuddho is a relevant movie because Hindi imperialists are trying to destroy the culture of West Bengal at present. They have to be thwarted at any cost. And Dharmajuddho is a movie that totally exposes their politics of religious appeasement. This movie is a must watch for all true and secular Bengalis.

Same set of untruths packaged into a movie are being peddled in the name of progressiveness . Utterly distasteful and poorly acted. Raj chakravarty, one of the prime reasons behind the shutting down of single hall cinemas now hopes to win back the masses by riding on sheer adrenaline rush. This movie mafia gang has drained us dry for long. Its high time that we wake up as an audience and show them that we see them for what they are. Conspiracy theories getting marketed for cheap thrills do not maketh a movie. How much longer will you make a mockery of entertainment and use the medis for your own selfish motives.

He is good in copying South movies but can't do good with direction & screenplay. Disappointed. Since the director is a sitting MLA & a famed politician so his inclination towards the current state government came into forefront with biased & politically motivated agendas.
