Ghosters Phantom Patrol

If you liked Ghostbusters your going to enjoy this indie film. It has a very familiar feel but with new awesome looking specters and some quirky new heroes. If you want to see some amazing special effects done on a shoe string budget this is the movie to see. It will have you asking, "How did they do that?" The acting was surprisingly good too. It is hard to find good family films these days and this movie fills the void while providing plenty of excitement for the whole family. You can feel safe letting your kids over 7 watch it. So pop some popcorn, dim the lights, and hunker down with the kids for a fun ride.

There is instant nostalgia when this movie if you grew up watching the Ghostbuster films. It's kid friendly and fits with other films like Spy Kids and We Can Be Heroes. Fun watch that the whole family can appreciate. I felt like it held it's own and not trying to be a goofy spoof film or anything like that even though it parallels famous ghost films that came before it. There isn't a lot of good films like this that the 80's and 90's used to offer more of so its fun to see a modern take on a Ghost film with decent special effects. If you are a fan of Ghostbusters or The Frighteners then you will enjoy this film.

Horrible cgi

constant "rain" despite the obvious sunny day

constant references to a ghost being "hot" or "sexy" (she looks no more than 16 years old)

acting is forced and characters have no personality or chemistry together whatsoever

try to make characters seem smarter than others or more badass when they aren't and just come across as unrealistic

dry jokes

unnecessary subplots that go nowhere and just add confusion

Soundtrack does not fit the theme of the scene and is too loud to hear the dialogue of the characters

inconsistent/forced accents

plot makes no sense and is a rip off of Ghostbusters

ghost design and movements look off

serious scenes are cringey to watch

Why is there a dinosaur ghost?

Forced exposition at the beginning.

Camera quality looks like a YouTube skit let alone the weird camera angles

ghosts don't do anything scary

unnecessary flirting that gives second hand embarrassment

cliche villain that does nothing for the plot

green screen is obvious and doesn't look good

random claymation at the end???

Voiceovers don't match up with their mouths

ghosts break the fourth wall by screaming at the camera unnecessarily

too much dialogue it gets boring

Overall wouldn't watch unless you need to make fun of something....

I didn't expect much out a small title but WOW, so entertaining with humor and good story with great characters. Great family film. I highly recommended this cute movie for the family too see.

Loved it, especially all the cool special effects! Super fun, great for the whole family to enjoy! Watched it in a big group and the kids loved it just as much as the adults, lots of laughs! Love the sexy ghost!
