Oh My Baby

While the drama had its moments of charm and humor, it struggled to deliver a truly expansive storyline that kept you engaged. The drama relied on the key characters interactions to drive its story, however, the long wait between these scenes was off putting despite barely having any additional side plotlines. Speaking of which, there were a few small side plotlines but none of them were remotely good or had any considerable weight. The third guy (Choi Kang Eu Tteum) always felt out of place and the attempt to give him something later on for his character was pathetic. The theme is good and some ideas were entertaining but the characters needed a deeper exploration. The OST was below average and the track "Only You" in particular was plain awful. The drama was alright but it felt incomplete in many aspects.

This is done well but just doesnt have much of a pulse kind of just moves on at a snails pace with a few laughable moments, i spent a lot of my time ff with only the scenes involving the ML.

This is a series that I count the days until the next episode The theme is very relevant. The lead actors are all great. Jang Na Ra and Go Joon have great chemistry, Go Joon should do more Romantic Comedies because of his sultry good looks and voice. I laugh and cry in each episode. Highly recommend this series.

" Oh My Baby " had a really strong start, though the love square was a bit boring.

The drama has a lot of angst when it came to the leading lady's dream of becoming a mother. And, a lot of babies!! The romance was also nice, although the love square was boring. The one guy was quickly eliminated and the second lead was too annoying in the end. The whole drama, in those ending episodes, was about the male lead going back and worth about what he wanted, what he felt, and what he ought to do. Which is a bit off, as they had options (if they've got married they could apply for adoption, for example. He is a rich photographer, she seems to love babies and kids, and, for what I've seen in other Korean dramas, adoption isn't really a big no-no in Korean society, unless I'm wrong.) So, yes, that whole drama could have been lessened.

But, overall, Oh My Baby was quite enjoyable. The leading lady did an amazing job with her character and she was both tragic and entertaining. The whole romance was nicely paced as well, and the vibes of the drama were just perfect.

So, seven and a half out of ten.

It started like a solid drama/comedy, kind of dragged in between, and the ending felt a bit rushed as with many dramas in their last episode. I watched this fresh off watching Jang Na Ra in VIP where her character was a lot more serious so watching her being cute this time was a little strange. Same with Go Joon, the last time I saw him was in The Fiery Priest and he played a convincing villain, but romantic comedy doesn't seem to fit him well.

Overall an okay drama with some relatable ideas/values that gives that everything is gonna be okay/ feel good vibes, and many times that's more than enough for me.
