Sonic and the secret rings is oddity, the levels are well designed, the controls work most of the time and the bosses are tough.

But the negatives are, the controls will have issues at times resulting it death or stopping and most of the levels are irrelevant missions like kill 10 enemies or collect rings.

Sonic and Shahra embark on a quest to retrieve the World Rings. Over the course of this quest, they learn that whoever collects the rings must be sacrificed to create a link between the Arabian Nights world and the real world, also that the rings themselves are sealed with different emotions.
