Inn the Works

I get HGTV needs to appeal to gen z and their absolute lack of remodeling skills and terrible design ideas that are nothing but ripping off older styles and colors and calling them modern but lets be clear who still has the money in the U. S. and its not gen z/m with a liberal arts degree, they are working drive through windows. HGTV/Gagnolia needs to drop the white/black/green/blue subway tiles, beams and mismatched design elements from different centuries, get rid of annoying squeaky irritating people who have the social skills of a gnat and go back to actually educating people about design/remodeling without the insanity that are these twisted broken personalities. I owned a residential/commercial construction company for 17 years, these people, all of them, well except Chip who take away to comedy is actually really skilled and gifted are total clueless. Stop appealing to the lowest common denominator !!!

I like the show quite a lot. Lindsey Kurowski is fantastic. Quick witted, funny and inspiring. Having her family as a part of it is a great element but I think they could capitalize on those dynamics even more.

I'm in to woodworking and have done carpentry in my youth so I'm really interested in the actual carpentry aspect. I always want to know "how" they're doing something. I wish they would have shown more on how they eliminated the "bottom chord" of the trusses and explained where the support is now coming from. To me it's an important element in really capturing a broad audience. I don't think it can survive long term primarily on the "feel good" element that, to be honest, they are doing quite well. So, more details on aspects of construction like eliminating trusses and even more emphasis on the family dynamics. It's a little fluffy at the moment. I love the show though, and look forward to more.

This show is just delightful to watch! Not only does it reinforce the concept of "family", but it does so in a very light-hearted way. Sure, almost no family gets along as well as these folks. However, the show also offers hope towards this ideal and demonstrates that sometimes you just need to ask for help.

Lindsey: Star of the show without even trying. NOT pretentious and has a genuine love for her design concepts in keeping with the "spirit" of the project's origins (and they WORK).

Matt: Shows that a hard work ethic doesn't have to get in the way of having a good time with your family. And for cryin' out loud, leave him alone about his hair! Let it grow, Man!

Kelsey: Always enthusiastic, willing to risk embarrassment if it means she can learn something new. Not afraid to show how much she loves her family. In just two seasons, her carpentry skills have progressed nicely.

Adam: "The Kid" This guy just loves life...and his Family. Love it when brute strength is need, Adam responds to the call (without resorting to Jackass-like stunts).

Always enjoy it when the show features Mom and Grandma helping with ideas and/or labor. Again, Family!

I look forward to many more seasons from the Kurowskis!

Gravel around a pool fire pits in grassy areas removing parking by the door and a loft with no banister. I just can't. Oh and distemper is highly contagious so she shouldn't have a dog with distemper around other dogs. I feel she remodels for a resort instead of the reality that a motel should remain just a motel. Clean it up make it functional and affordable so travelers have an option outside of higher prices. Keep it simple. The lofty ideas for the motel need to be dialed back because so many mistakes were made. Turf. No. Removing parking bad idea. Keep the necessary things that make motels motels.

It was a miracle I found this show and I am SO happy that I did.

Host and star of the show, Lindsey Kurowski, is a delight to watch and listen to as she fearlessly goes about reviving large properties in her own special way. She's funny and she's clever. Lindsey knows what she wants and she steers the show from beginning to end in a manner that's a pleasure to watch. As a bonus, Inn the Works is a family affair as Lindsey is joined on her projects by her two brothers, Adam and Matt and her sister Kelsey.

When I discovered Inn the Works, it was already airing a second season so I went back to the start of the first season. I was captivated from the opening minutes and found myself binging all 6 the initial episodes. The I caught up with the second season episodes that had recently aired and set my DVR for ALL future episodes to come. Yes, I'm ready for a third season!

The ONLY complaint I have is the shows run in a 30-minutes time slot. They could easily take advantage of a time slot twice that size (hint, hint).

There's no other show like Inn the Works. It's a bright ray of sunshine and I just cannot get enough of it.
