Forced Entry

Forced Entry is a mean spirted little short horror film. From what I heard the movie is inspired by the real life "Toolbox Killers" and definitely not the violently raunchy 70's porn film by the same name as I assumed it was.

The movie is fairly simple. Just two guys going around doing home invasions and murdering people in various violent ways.

The positives here are that violence feels more violent than it actually is since most of the violence is shown offscreen. All the nasty stuff mostly shown is in the aftermath. I guess it comes down to how rough and nasty most of this feels. Almost like watching the movie "Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer ".

The negative are that there's really nothing to care about here. One of the killers is super annoying! The other one is just your standard big meaty silent killer type. And the victims you never really get to know but I did get happy for a second when one of them turned the tables on one the killers. Besides that there's nothing to get overly invested here. Still with that said it was average in my book. And I would be interested to watch a full length version of this if they ever made it.
