I've never seen a better student film than this - Smother Me, Rage transcends the plane of its uninspired, crudely-made competitors, introducing a thoughtful and unique approach to visual storytelling unseen to me before now. Truly, it is an experience most students are entirely incapable of executing well, and I cannot commend the filmmakers enough for their dark depictions of brutal reality. Pace and cinematography are major aspects of the immersion that Smother Me, Rage presents to its viewers, and any film student can take a page out of its book. In an era of film where conformity to moneymaking standards are favored over passionately creative endeavors, Smother Me, Rage and its filmmakers are a light at the end of the tunnel.

Just watched Smother Me, Rage on YouTube and LOVED it! I was completely blown away by this student film, and can tell how much effort the filmmakers put into it. The cinematography and color really stand out to me, and compliments the story perfectly. All in all great job!

P.S. The cast was great too, loved all of the performances... You guys could speak without dialog!

This film looks so cool and has such good music. It moves at a good pace letting you absorb the characters and surroundings before it leads up to a thrilling climax. One of the best shorts I've seen.
