Gleipnir

I first heard about this series when its anime adaptation was announced and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. This is one of those shows that is best to go in blind, knowing absolutely nothing about it. This is one of those shows that you have to watch to the end before you decide to critique anything. There were a lot of things that despite small, I questioned because they didn't seem to make much sense but clearly they knew what they were doing because it all ended up being answered in the end. The animation is incredible with some of the coolest and most intense fight scenes I've seen in a while when it comes to anime and despite being just a 12 episode anime, it provides a lot of depth and character development for our protagonist. I would have given this a 10 but there were some parts that were pretty cliche and there was a lot of unnecessary sexual scenes. Aside from that, the plot is properly fleshed out and nothing is too overdone. Not sure why people had a problem with it but the characters were well done, the plot is creative and fresh, and it doesn't try to be unique. On top of that, it constantly kept me on the edge of my seat and I was never bored. If you're into fast-paced shows, I recommend this. Give it a watch :)))

I don't know why I completed this series though it was really "weak" series but still I eat he'd it completely. The characters are so not good whenever u watch those characters u feel like "something" is coming out of ur mouth😂😂 (I felt like that) though it is a "supernatural" genre one, still there must be some logic inside, this series lacks those logic, if u r ready to watch this series without logic then go ahead(but I am damn sure u won't enjoy it) the FMC SOMETIMES, SOMETIMES, SOMETIMES looks cute(🤔🤔I don't think so) o..kk.. but still... Hope u will come out of it after watching all EPS (short for episodes)

Worst anime series i ever watched..idiot main character..to weak to call it a monster..maybe a puppet!

The entire show is middle of the road at best, the art is beautiful though. Also a scene in the 6th episode made me almost drop it all together.

It's rare I don't finish a show. However, Gleipnir isn't worth my time. I watched the first 6 episodes and I'm convinced half the screen time is spent on close ups of muscles and tendons on the female characters.

The plot is practically non-existent. Someone came up with what they thought was a good idea and somehow got paid before fleshing it out in the slightest.

The voice acting is over the top. Moreso than most anime. The characters are tropes with no personality or growth. The soundtrack wasn't bad but that doesn't make it watchable.

All in all, it's sub-par. It may appeal to some if other reviews are anything to go by but I'd suggest only watching the first 2 episodes before making up your mind. It really doesn't change after that. There's no "pay-off" moment that makes the slog worth it.
