Apparently, everyone can be bought, it all depends only on the price and circumstances. At least that's what the idea of gold says, which is somewhat difficult to verify - because most of us have never intended to corrupt, buy or pimp ... Our personal price is one of the main themes of "Girls from Dubai", which the creators do not let us forget when repeating it's stubbornly. The second motive is an equally golden thought that karma returns - that is, that we will have to pay for what we have done in our lives. And here we have more personal experiences, albeit quite different. After all, we know of those who have not paid for arming at all, but not at all.

"Girls from Dubai" is a huge promotional success, because the whole internet cares about this film, as if it could be at least a Polish candidate for an Oscar. And he couldn't. It is a bizarre fusion of entertainment cinema with departures to quite embarrassing areas, with a cinema of golden thoughts, but also an attempt to look at prostitution from the perspective of women. For the second time I will definitely not see "Girls", but I would also cruelly sin with tales that everything was wrong here.

No pun intended - I was not aware of the controversy the movie had stirred up. Polish movies seem to aim for acting out and giving people things to talk about. While this is not nearly as explicit as another movie (that at the time of writing is a trilogy), it does contain a lot of nudity ... and a lot of violence too.

Are we all open to the concept of being bought? Is there a price where we would do something we would otherwise call morally wrong? Like how much would it take for you to sleep with someone? Or are you only "available" for oral satisfaction? To be paid for that is of course. Now before you get outraged at the thought, it is not me who asks that question in the first place - at least not here in this case. It is the movie (or the book I reckon this is based on).

In Germany there are two versions availabel to screen - one of them is cut - around 3 minutes being cut out. I watched that by mistake, but read what I missed out on. To be honest, they could have left that stuff in - but on the other hand, especially the scene towards the end, I am almost thankful they cut it out ... it is abhorring to say the least. But it is part of the movie and it is part of the journey ... a journey that may make you mad! Rightfully so ..

"This movie has been on everybody's tongues for months." ^^^has it? It's really not dont think anyone has even mentioned it, guys this is truly terrible dont waste your time i dont think I've seen anything this poor in a long long time its truly terrible.

I admit it, I myself frequent escorts, I'm not ashamed or sorry about it, most of these girls do it by choice, but it's undeniable that some are forced into it and this film talks about all this.

In the film there is no moral judgement, no finger is pointed at or blamed on anyone, a story is simply told with all its pros and cons and this is the greatness of the film.

The world of escorts is particular, there is no talk of trafficking in sex slaves, they are not street girls, they are beautiful young women who earn in a month what a normal person earns in a year, having said this there is no shortage of negative sides obviously, for some of these girls that life could leave emotional wounds, especially in younger girls and the film portrays this aspect very well.

I therefore recommend watching this film without prejudice, without dogmas or moralism, so bigots, woke people and feminists abstain from watching it, those who use their brains and have an open mind must see the film, they will certainly appreciate it.

I saw the movie and I can tell they just used the name of Dubai city in the title maybe for commercial reasons or other, but the movie has nothing about Dubai!

90% of the events in Europe, and for girls from Poland, and most of their customs are Europeans from Europe, just some are Saudis and in Europe!

Dubai has just 10:5 minutes in it and even those short minutes weren't filmed in Dubai and has nothing about Dubai , just you can place the name of any other city and it can go!

The movie itself is so long and can make you feel boring, the acting was ok, and bad from some who seems just started acting.

Some events doesn't look can really happen in the real life this way.

I've seen a movie called Halliday before, and I've seen this man acting there. She is probably an actor that women would know. Still, he was handsome and his acting was cool.

Great portrayal of a pretty realistic situation. Glad that this tough topic is being brought up. The brilliance is in the end when some women suffered and some enjoyed: the director tried to expose the truth, took a neutral position, and not send any message of blaming who is right or wrong.

What rings the bell and from my knowledge, is real:

• pageant turned escorts: extremely common in all societies both rich and poor
• Saudis looking for paid sxx are vicious and hungry, yes, that's definitely true
• be honest before marriage, don't marry someone you haven't spent enough time with or it might explode in your face
• don't let anyone tape you having sxx; they must be destroyed even so; that stuff bites anyone back. It's very sad these things tend to hurt women most.

• don't fall for quick money. 100% of the time the job is a scam or something way beyond your comfort zone (human trafficking is REAL)
• don't trust anyone who has betrayed you even once.

Story about rise and fall of an escort girl turned pimp and how cutthroat your "friends" can be.

The production value is quite high, though some of the scenes are quite cheesy, but still, it is a movie worth seeing.

I was really surprised by the visual depth and quality of the film, which could easily have felt cheap because of the nudity and explicit sex that dominates it. It must not be easy to act but the performance was really good.

This movie has been on everybody's tongues for months. It's inspired by true events and many famous people were frightened to be exposed by this movie.

The movie itself tells a seedy story of Emi who tries her hardest to get out of the little town by sleeping with rich Arabs amd organising high class prostitution.

It's beautifully shot, has beautiful people in it and shows some hot, steamy action.

It is a bit long, that is my only criticism.

Highly polished. A good production value and a shocking story behind the glittering city, Cannes. It's originally from a book and the book is based on a real story. I visited Cannes a few times but never imagined what's really going on. It's not just about a sexy movie. It also shows the truth nobody knows and nobody wants to know.

Great casting and performances all throughout this haunting, sordid, sexy true life tale. Good direction, some nice cinematography, and solid writing make the long running time endurable. Very few moments felt slow to me. I thought it was nicely paced between the drama, the comedy, and the sexual content. Everything you could want in a film like this.

WARNING: If you don't like seeing the dark side of human nature then this film will absolutely not appeal to you.

I found this movie interesting, it is about a real problem of the Eastern Europe countries. Nowadays people should know that these problems exist in the world.

Based on a true story, Emi - a young, ambitious girl, dreams about life outside her small town. When an opportunity arises to become an exclusive escort, she jumps in without hesitation. Soon she climbs the ranks and starts her own VIP escort service; recruiting Polish celebrities, actors, singers, and models. However, the luxurious and enticing world eventually shows its dark side.

Movies about prostitution, even if they are luxurious, using a comic tone, are always sad, and bring with them the unhappiness behind all the struggle, submission and subjugation to achieve what they desire, a delicious soundtrack, to accompany sexual and sensual scenes, a fast-paced, captivating and engaging script, hypnotizing... Good performances, lots of nudity, dramatic ending, explicit violence, drugs, sex, misogyny and sexism, humiliations, a beautiful example that this life is not easy...

The title for this film was definitely intriguing and I was pretty floored by the quality of the production and the very enticing story of young women pursuing a lifestyle that eventually becomes their downfall. The trailer really did justice to the film for once. Highly recommended.

There is something to think about.

Good directing and cinematography. Not bad actors. Watching the film takes place in one breath and forces the viewer to immerse himself in the events. You see the situation from both sides, which helps not only to despise, but also to sympathize with the characters. I think everyone should watch this movie.

Overall a strong and worthwhile film.

Especially considering that he is Polish. This is a significant rise of Polish film culture.

Great movie. Nicely shot, interesting to watch but leaves a heavy feeling. It's like, it's not the government's fault that people are poor, it's not the men's fault that they want s"x, are ready to buy girls and do whatever they want with them. It's all the girls' fault, they are the ones who should go to freaking jail.

The average rating wasn't that high, so I was putting this movie away or some time. And I am glad I watched it.

Frankly, I do not understand the all the 1s. This movie feature some serious topics and can be visually hard for many. If you can't stand visuals of sex, violence and... sexual violence, then save yourself and do not watch it. It is not a happy movie.

For those aware of serious moral issues in this world, the movie delivers. It is really well made and played.

My only complaints would be that some scenes are unnessisarily streched. The movie could be well under 2 hours to deliver the same message but more distilled. But anyway, there is afast forward button for that.

Within the framework of a movie, a video for over 19 years of age was released, and although it is an attractive subject, it is also a subject that should be seriously considered.
