During the writing of the "kill them all" note, the over the shoulder shot shows the pen being held with index finger tucked well under her thumb. Face on, the pen is being held in a totally different pinching style.

Cars are shown with front license plates. However, cars in Florida do not have front license plates. Additionally, the "Florida" plate design in the film is different from any actual issued license plate.

Although not required, some vehicles do have front plates in Florida. Also, the cab in the movie with a front plate does have a valid Florida designed plate.

Heather offers one of two glasses of champagne to Jess, who says yes, though Heather's not shown actually giving it to her. Just a minute later when they go up on deck, Heather's still holding both glasses and Jess doesn't have one. There's no indication that Jess already gulped hers down belowdecks, or that Heather poured another one.

While the editing is clumsy, soon after this scene Heather speaks with Sally and relates how Jess met Greg. Clearly, Heather and Jess spoke for awhile in the cabin while Jess drank her champagne, then Heather poured more glasses to bring abovedeck.

The shadow of the camera can be seen when Jess grabs a knife about 1 hr 17 mins into the film.

When they are at the pier you can see a sign towards the entrance/exit of the pier that says Southport Yacht Club QLD on it which is located in Australia. The film is meant to be off the Miami USA coast at the Bermuda triangle.

When Jess awakes from her dream on board the yacht, you can see an electrical socket, which looks more like one used in Australia, even though it was set in USA.

It is odd that Greg did not start the engines of his sailboat when he saw the storm approaching, or when he saw the massive wave about to hit his boat side-on.

The film suggests why Jess has a wristwatch set to the same time as the 1932 cruise-liner: 8:20 shows an unhappy or sad clock face instead of the 10:10 "happy" displayed on watches for sale or on advertisements.

After Jess diverges from the initial loop, she shoots the masked iteration of herself in the head afterwards. Once she eventually wears the mask herself and enters the theater to shoot Greg, the same does not happen to her and she does not get shot in the head. Therefore she realizes she can change events and can find a way out of the sailboat-cruise ship time loop.

By Jess killing her past self, he present self would have disappeared.

Greg, owner and operator of a nice yacht, twice uses explicitly non-boating language: once he refers to the cabins in his sailboat as "rooms," and to the decks of the ocean liner as floors rather than decks.
