I am a huge fan of Reno 911. This show is so close to a real life Reno 911. From talking drunks down off roofs to chasing bears. The lives of these officers is at least interesting, if not thankless. The residents of Alaska seem to get away with a lot more than the 'lower 48'. Enjoyable show.

I gave this show a shot and man am I happy that I did love it so much very different from other similar shows due to the area.

I don't normally watch COP shows as they all seem the same. However, ALASKA PD isn't just about COPS. That is if you're smart enough to REALIZE it. This show is about HOW these cops have to be Officers, Social Workers, Rescuers and often Adventurers. They live in a State without enough Social Service support, Mental Health care facilities and in some cases Medical support. I think these guys and a few gals are AMAZING... They care about their communities and the PEOPLE living there. Who cares WHERE they recruit from? Thank GOD Alaskan Law Enforcement realizes it takes a SPECIAL personality to work in this environment and therefore CANNOT hire everyone who applies. Also, the scenery is BEAUTIFUL.... No other COP show compares.

Airing during the winter months. Its cozy to watch this series in the comfort of your own home.

We get to see the Police in Alaska, who see first hand the substance abuse , boredom and poverty that grips the frozen wild northwest.

Also, a bit on the lives of these officers. And how they prepare. We learn about a unique job and a life filled with sacrifice and trying to help the community for the better.

I love everything about this show, the cops the people and how truly honest they are. Come on season two!

Just watching your show I am 100% Republican So I believe in police but I watch these officers determine witch laws they want to Enforce and which ones they do not ..Sad that the police department is no longer anyone you can count especially in Fairbanks

Not sure what below review was looking for. There is no narrator in this show but the police themselves. They don't dramatize it up like most reality tv shows. They show and speak and are giving raw footage. I thought this show was great and really shows how small town either love or hate the police which is unfortunate because they work their asses off. Loved seeing Petersburg PD. Back the blue, these Alaska PD officers are fantastic, like most all police in our country.

This show sucks. Should be on bravo. Just like Live PD, this show won't age well...

Another cop show about how the public is so bad and law enforcement is so perfect.I'd feel safer with a crack head living next door to me than a cop.

I watch several of these type of shows but this one is the bottom of the barrel. Officer A Gebert is the cop that everyone points to when they are bitching about bad cops. He loves to use the DUI as an excuse to arrest people. He loves to do a field test and when they do it without issue he still says they failed. But it is on A&E so it will be mostly just mindless. BS.

Half the show is them just driving around complaining it is cold, it is Alaska lol. They must have real trouble getting good officers otherwise why pick the ones you did? If you like these shows, there are many others done far better.

Pretty disgusting they couldn't find Alaskan cops to follow. Is it a flaw in he network or the Alaska police recruiting department. This show isn't worththe time it takes to turn it on. Just more NON-Alaskans fakngit for TV 😡
