फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Out Of Love spans across 2 seasons and charts 10 episodes. It is a microscopic examination of a crumbling marriage and the catastrophic effects it has on those involved in matrimony and everyone else connected to it. Dr. Meera Kapoor (Rasika Dugal) and Akarsh Kapoor (Purab Kohli) have been marred for over a decade and have a happy household with their only son Abhi. Meera is a senior doctor in a popular local hospital and suddenly starts to suspect Akarsh of adultery as she finds strange clues. Eventually her suspicion comes true as Akarsh is found to be pursuing a romantic relationship with Alia, a girl half his age who is pregnant. She confronts Akarsh and decides to separate from him. The scandal breaks out in the small town and Akarsh suffers heavily financially and reputationally.
According to Gulzar Saab and through lines mouthed by Anuradha Patel in "Ijaazat", when a marriage breaks down, the relationship starts rotting and it stinks. It certainly seems true for Meera and Akarsh who spew vitriol over the custody of Abhi and their other materialistic possessions. It transforms into a war where Meera and Akarsh aim for each other's jugular and wash dirty linen in public. Akarsh leaves town for Delhi for a few years, but returns to seek revenge and oust Meera from her seemingly comfortable life. Another showdown begins with catastrophic effects, that worst hits Abhi. Meera and Akarsh constantly try to outsmart each other without considering the effects it has on other people.
Out Of Love is an immensely watchable series that deconstruction a marriage and peels down its very foundations. The dirty side of a long standing marriage is exposed leaving cracks out in the open. The series is set in idyllic and dreamy Coonoor, which looks beautiful. It's a tad bit slow in proceedings and takes time to materialise and culminate in the most obvious climax, but not before giving some heart stopping moments to the viewers. Rasika Dugal and Purab Kohli do total justice to their respective roles, whilst the others remain peripheral to the subject and relationship, with limited screen time. The only unfortunate part of the series is that although Akarsh is portrayed as a dark character without remorse, your sympathy towards Meera isn't a given as her character constantly bays for revenge, even jeopardising their son's life.

The series keeps building up but doesn't really does anything. It had potential but haven't really made any mark.
Rasika Duggal was the only good thing about this series. Nothing else really works. You keep on wanting for more, thinking that something will happen. But it never goes beyond average.
Not impressed.
The human drama is fun, not over the top. You do end up feeling the seriousness behind human relationships and the cost of cheating.
The writing is not flawless, there seems to be room for improvement.
The series survives purely on the shoulders of a great premise and great acting.
If you definitely want to watch a Hindi series go for it, not many better out there. If not there are plenty English series worth your time.

I have given 3 stars only because of the acting of Rasika Dugal.
Storyline is average. You are expecting something extra, something to watch for. But this series fails to deliver. There are plenty of characters in the story who are useless!!! The don't have any role to play in the story apart from just having some useless conversation. Like Dr Pradhan, Meera's doctor colleague, Meera's relative in Goa, alia's mother....
The dialogues are worst!!! I didn't remember a single impactful dialogue... Sometimes I could not listen what the actor/actress said!!! I had to enable subtitles to get what they said!!!
Background music is horrific!!!! I guess music director has no clue which music to play on background. So only title song keeps on repeating every now and then. (Like the TV series in 90s)
Apart from Rasika, all other actors and actresses seem no interest in playing their role. I don't know if they have not paid decent amount or the director failed to get best out of them.
And lastly, I didn't understand what message the director wanted to convey from this series??? That a man can 'LOVE' two women at the same time but a woman can't? Or the infidelity by men in marriage is not 'CHEATING' but 'LOVE'. But infidelity by women is not 'LOVE', but 'REVENGE' ????

After a long time we see a series made in India on a different subject and its good to watch something new on the screen.
The best performer is Rasika, she leaves a mark
Purab is ok, I don't think he did justice to the character.
You'll love the locations where this one was shot.
