One of the worst movie in the entire filmography of Rajini Sir. Nothing else than a common Cliche movie, really bores you off,if you're already a viewer of such films,at first such films had a repeat value,but now they are just making it for a super hit label😖. Really disappointed. But if you're not a viewer of such cliche films,and also a Rajini,then it might give a little enjoyment.

Terrible movie in tamil. Not even 1 time watchable.

Annaatthe would've been a Superhit if it was released in 2000. I really wasn't excited for this movie since I heard the director is Siva, and he don't really have a good record on movies reaching the hype it created. The trailer itself seemed like a part of Ajith's Viswasam (which was surprisingly turned to be a good if you choose to watch a movie with your family but not so enjoyable if you decide to watch watch with your friends) so this Annaatthe seemed like Viswasam and I watched it with my family and even they didn't seemed to like it.

I can tell you the positive part of the film but I don't like to take it long.

In short, the film quality is bad as if it is made in 2000 (except camera), the action sequences are overrated and BGM is good but it's not enough for you to book a ticket to watch it. If you're a die hard fan of Rajinikanth and never missed his movies, then go watch and you still have a chance to be disappointed, and if you're not a fan, just want to watch it since you have all the time in the world and need a time pass movie - skip this movie. Yes, skip it. Not worth it.

Over all it's a passable movie or can be watched if it premieres in television or on OTT platform.

Annaatthe was marketed as a family drama with high emotion so that's exactly what I went in expecting. Well it wasn't a family drama, rather a FAMILY MELODRAMA. I was never really sure whether I was watching a movie or a TV serial. Every emotion is amped up, every dialogue is delivered in a melodramatic way and followed by loud melodramatic music and still you feel nothing for the characters, at least I didn't. The screenplay is pretty much non-existent. Things happen randomly with underwritten charcters. I didn't mind Siva redoing the old troupes from his and others' films but the problem is they never really make any sense. And, yet again, a film fails to find a legit villain who can actually pose a threat to the Superstar. Keerthy Suresh has nothing to do other than cry and Nayanthara has not even that. And finally coming to Rajinikanth, it's no doubt he's past his peak but the man still carries the film, all alone, with his energy and charisma. You can see him give everything he can but it's not enough to save this weak film. It's evident that he still has more to offer for Tamil cinema but the sad reality is the filmmakers just don't know what to do with this legend anymore.

Just Felt as if I watched 4 serials straight. Being a Fan of Rajnikanth, I'm really disappointed. The story plot is weak, the comedy is cringe, the emotions are unnecessary. The film is just a mixture of Kadaikutty Singam, Viswaasam and Namma Veetu Pillai, but it's bad.
