It goes downhill

There's a good story to be had, and at first the plotting lives up to it, but by the end it's awash with cliches. And as for the reliance on impossible software, that does make you realise the writers wanted shortcuts.

Excellent drama

Don't let the fact that this is a foreign language film put you off. With subtitles this is easy to follow. Its a superb well paced drama, good character development with a very sinister and creepy male lead that keeps things moving along. Excellent production on all levels.

Very good thriller

Very good storyline with lots of twists, which I enjoyed watching. Characters are good, the two leads are excellent. Combines a good crime thriller with the personal life of the female lead detective. After each episode I really wanted to watch the next.

Edgy polish 6-part series

I liked it. Good character development. Not too gory. You need a F F button to deal with a few typical Euro lovemaking scenes. Some problems that could be solved with a pistol shot go unsolved creating more problems (esp. At the end).

Story moved briskly--7 episodes was perfect. Not sure we 'get' the killer's motive, but he was a sinister enough crackpot.

Angel of Death - Walter Presents

Ok, this won't challenge your intellect but most foreign series from Walter Presents are worth a watch. That's not to say that they are formulaic as many countries and production companies are involved but most are of fair to high quality.

So, if you have a few hours to kill (no pun intended) you could do worse than immersing yourself in this.
