The Mystery of Dr. Fu Manchu

After first watching parts of this serial in 2021 (and reviewing them here under my previous username tavm) and then finishing it just now, I can honestly say that most of the episodes of The Mystery of Dr. Fu Manchu was worth the viewing even with no music score in most of them. Despite no attempt to look Asian, H. Agar Lyons was fine as Fu Manchu as were the others (Fred Paul as Nayland Smith, Joan Clarkson as Karamaneh, and Humberston Wright as Dr. Petrie) in their roles. I really liked the atmospheric touches especially the various color-tints in many of the scenes being presented in some of the episodes. I can't wait to watch the other filmed versions of Dr. Fu Manchu as I go chronological in reviewing the rest of the different series as I go along from here.
