Marc Forster directed "Finding Neverland" (2004), which explores J.M. Barrie's relationship with the Llewelyn Davies family. This relationship inspired Barrie to write the play "Peter Pan" (1904). However, the character of Peter Pan first appeared in Barrie's novel "The Little White Bird," published in 1902.
