This drama is no love story, but you don't need that to love this series.

The subtle way it renders ambition, dedication, friendship, comradery and the humanne relationships is amazing - not only amongst the soldiers but even amongst offenders.

When watching this, sometimes I did feel this is just drama, but really good drama, but more often, I had to remind myself this is drama, and not real.

There's heartbreak, and sometimes I've cheered them on from this side of the screen because there's no helping but get emersed in their wonderful execution of their characters.

It's just downright great stuff. Watch it!!! Totally watch it!!!

One of the best Military Cdrama. The screenwriter imprinted captivating personalities on his characters and knew how to tie all the stories together.

I think this is one of the best Chinese military dramas in recent years. It is the story of the young new soldier Yan Poyue, who had gone through strict physical training since childhood following his kidnap by the drug dealers who his father had arrested. His dream is to be the best soldier and join the special force. However, his self-centric personality and lack of trust in others caused a lot of problems.

Through his eyes and interactions with his comrades, the drama presents many intriguing characters and the deeply touching relationships among friends and opponents. The production has movie qualities and is captivating. The plot twists and turns unexpectedly but has quite some realistic basis.

It is a show that one can't just skip through - in many places I had to rewind so as not to miss the details...

This is the best drama of Yangyang and good acting and performance plus the action scene and supporting actors are contributing as well. Well done highly recommended. Hope this is in netflix so other countries can watch. Best actor for yangyang. 10/10. Serious military drama. Realistic one as well. I will watch this many times. Hopefor season 2. So far beat military chinese drama for me and please do not miss watching this gem and masterpiece. If you love action scenes and military drama then this is for you . Glory of special forces 2022.
