This show is a cowboy bebop copy cat down to origin stories and some episodes. but imitating the greats is not always bad especially when you do it well and add your own flavours with the resolution and character arc of the lead character inspiring as he finds himself n learns to forgive. Its still one of my early favourites and the dub is great. The opening is one of the best ever
I heard of this anime from a friend who had watched it when she was young. She said that i may enjoy watching it, so lent it to me. When i read over the back of the anime i was greeted with a strong back-line. The anime sounded like my kind of genre, so i started to watch it. The 1st 5 minutes of the anime was a little blurring, not very eye-catching. However as i continued to watch it, i got more tied in. The characters in the anime, were like that, of any other anime, not very eye-catching. The plot was balanced. I believe that i thoroughly enjoyed this anime, but i wouldn't recommend it. I believe a strong seven can be rewarded.
I thought it was gonna be entertaining but it's just a bit boring, I'm giving it 5/10 just because it's colourful. I just feel the storyline and the action was done before so that's why I dropped this anime after the 1st episode.....
Train Heartnet is a famous assassin known as Black Cat. He works for Chronos, an organization that secretly controls the world. However, he begins to question the morality of his actions after he befriends two bounty hunters named Saya and Sven, a thief named Rinslet, and a young girl named Eve.
I thought this was a very cool action packed anime with some really amazing fight scenes.
Train Heartnet is an example of a character who has excellent and an excellent lead of a protagonist. Sven is also a great side kick who does have some good development. Eve aside from being an adorable little girl with blonde hair definitely goes beyond just that.
The ending and into were excellent.
While I have mixed feelings about Train's actor over the years but I still thought the dub was excellent.
If want to see an action packed adventure you may like this series.

Black Cat is an interesting series, with a decent plot and characters, but in both of these it still suffers.
The characters, specifically the two main ones, are cliché. But they don't always feel that way. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. They really don't know how to feel. One character though, Sven, is consistently a great character. All the other secondary characters felt like nothing, and were largely ignored.
The plot is, although interesting, very rushed. I found there were a few plot-holes here and there, just to speed up the process. I don't know if they had an episode limit or what, but I especially noticed that the last episode was incredibly rushed and overall a pretty bad episode. Everything else was rushed too. Every episode had a resolution to whatever new conflict had arisen at the end. Sure, there was the main conflict, but all the smaller ones never carried over into other episodes, and it just felt lazy. The show would've benefited greatly from more episodes and more time spent on each one.
The action is okay. The fights are interesting enough, but sometimes characters just feel blatantly overpowered, and makes some fights feel one- sided.
The show has a lot of magic in it, but it all fits really well into the universe, which is really interesting.
Overall, Black Cat is just okay. The characters are decent (with the exception of Sven), the plot is rushed, the action is okay, but it has just enough magic so that it doesn't feel like everyone's a wizard. I wouldn't recommend this show personally, but it's still decent.
