RX100 made by Ajay Bhupati had a very good making and characters gets connected with the viewers which lacks here in this movie. The focused more on Ahan Shetty rather than the script. Not a good remake overall.

Now I saw both movies Rx100 in Telugu and Tadap in Hindi.
In my Opinion RX100 was good for one time watch with Brilliant music. But had flaws.
This Tadap is just Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. The writer had nothing to put new things except location, characters name. Seriously nothing. That also they couldn't do properly.
Up on that it's just star kid career launching movie. But do he able to deliver that. Nope!!!
I am not saying to give this script to some other actor or any known actor but. But at least they could have done properly with screenplay.
Dialogues are ridiculous. No one talks like a normal person in this movie. Every one is giving a speech or some kind of lecture to each other.
I am not a fan of Tara Sutaria. She can't act. Up on that her choice of script or movie selections has been horrible. This movie might be her best choice. But she can't deliver lust full, nymphomaniac character. Also an evil personality which she needs to do. That demands years of tough characters portraying actress with young age. There are so many actress we have seen in recent years in OTT web series.
I am not a fan of Tadap music Album also. It's annoying and very forgettable music and songs.
Only one song plays repeatedly in the whole movie.
Better to listen RX100. It had soulful music.
Compare to Tadap music album, RX100 is a masterpiece music album with such beautiful sound design.

Cannot believe we are still making these kind of movies. Boy loves girl, girl loves boy but girl's parents do not agree. The boy is now an alcoholic and roams around beating people up blah blah. Who cares? Move on. This movies probably belongs in 18th century. And let's not talk about the acting of the leads, because, ew!

I don't understand what is with new comers and cringey love stories. I think Bollywood saw Salman & Amir's respective success in their debuts and now they thing this formula will work till eternity but they don't seem to understand that the movie itself should be good for this to work. Tadap is exactly how you would expect it to be there is nothing astonishing about this movie. Sure actors did their best but sometimes that's not enough especially with a remake that's not even on par with source material. Please bring original non romantic content for debutants.

The movie is the remake of rx100 which had that feel the emotions and the hatred which here was totally missing
Ahan failed to carry the character given to him and also was not promising on his onscreen look's..Tara was below normal..Milan failed to give the darkness, the emotions, the pain ,the hatred ,the terror of a hurt lover...the songs which are the breathe of a love story were absent..humour was sad..action was old age..the twist did not give that shocking effect
Not at all a tadap.

It's good that I didn't watch RX100 first. Went into theatre with some expectations and spoiler alert: "Not Disappointed".(and that too even after knowing the suspense)
Since it is directed by Milan Luthria, I knew I am going to hear some good dialogues throughout.(take Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai for example)
I wasn't bore or felt like leaving at any stage.
Pritam did a good job at music. (especially that Arijit's humming during scenes) particularly, "Tumse Bhi Zyaada" standout the most (even still playing in my mind) The only drawback that I see was Ahan's acting, don't get me wrong, It is not like he did a horrible job there, It is just his acting lacked "intensity" that the character needed. (but pretty good considering it is his debut), Tara Sutaria did good.
But the performaces that standout were their reel life fathers, esepcially with their dialogue delivery.
So overall, it's a good watch.

It was a very weak plot with some poor acting and dialogues. Even the end isn't justified. The whole movie doesn't make any sense anywhere!
It had only song which sounded good, which was Arijit's "Tum Se Bhi Zyaada".
Rest everything about the movie was senseless.

Good story and good massage.we need like this love story in our life.and the hero he was so good he remaind ..how should love be. And they take me back how the people sacrifice for the love.
Ahan will probably improve a lot as he does more work. Tara excelled in her role. Every other actor was good. Story was excellent. Could have been much better. I still left the cinema with a heavy feeling. I guess most of us, either can relate or have friends that have been thru something similar. Will not divulge much, but I will say go and watch it. 👍🏽

Ramisa (Tara Sutaria) returns from the UK after completing her education to Musoorie, Uttarakhand, where her father Nautiyal (Kumud Mishra) is the local legislator. She is instantly attracted to Ishana (Ahan Shetty), a rugged young man who she soon discovers is the foster son of her father's close friend, Daddy (Saurabh Shukla). It doesn't take long for sparks to fly between Ramisa and Ishana and they fall in love. For Ishana, it feels too good to be true, and he gets far too deeply involved emotionally.
But fate has other plans for them. While on a trip to Dehradun to procure some raw materials for their business, Ishana suddenly learns about Ramisa's wedding to a London based guy, and in super quick time, the ceremony is to be executed. He rushes back home but can't stop the wedding from taking place and even fails to meet Ramisa one last time. He blames Nautiyal for their misfortune and vows to destroy his life and assets. After Ramisa has flown back to the UK, Ishana hits the bottle hard, turns into a melancholy alcoholic, who won't miss an opportunity to damage Nautiyal's business assets and beating up his people, something that Nautiyal quietly bears without retribution, claiming that Ishana is his friend's son. Three years pass by, with Ishana going from bad to worse, unable to forget Ramisa or move on, and then one day, Ramisa returns to Musoorie much to Ishana's joy of the hope of being reunited. It's showtime!!
Tadap is excruciatingly slow and feels like a polished version of 1960-70's love stories where protagonists just couldn't move on from heartbreaks. You really have no idea where it's all headed until about 30 minutes before the climax there's a twist in the love story that you possibly didn't see coming. In spite of that novel twist, the film's languid and repetitive storytelling fails to redeem the situation as it's too far gone. You don't know what you should regret about - a young life wasted chasing a wild goose, or your two and a half hours of sitting through a monotonous narrative that leavesd no impression. Ahan Shetty doesn't inspire in his first appearance and Tara Sutaria is lightweight anyway. The most impressive performances come from Saurabh Shukla and Kumud Mishra, which are perhaps the film's best assets apart from some peppy music composition by Pritam. Also worth a mention is Sumit Gulati in role of Ishana's friend LOL, who actually is quite a hoot.

Average actor got chance because of nepotism, this nepotism has taken bollywood down, these actor first don't have good face and also don't know how to do acting properly, still they have been launched,
Bollywood is so bad these days, I become to everyone actor, only Hollywood and south indian cinema is saving theaters.
Tadap starts in a positive way but the screenplay of the movie lacks the whole plot. First half is very slow paced and it's kinda hard to connect to the story. Second half picks up good but it end drastically as it not should be. Performance wise Ahan Shetty tries so hard to get into the character and he did in some scenes but still he need to work hard more for his dialogue delivery acting. Tara Sutaria is exceptional in this movie & the way she has acted in this movie was superb. Story was below average. Director Milan luthria direction was not on the point because movie lacks in the 1st half only & then it takes way more time to pick up to the story. Anyway it's a one time watch you can definitely give a try.....

It was a great watch, justifies it's title 100%. Ahan shetty does a really good job as a debut though he needs little bit improvement in giving expressions and dialogue delivery but overall he does a really good acting, Tara sutaria also does well especially in the last portions where she's seen portraying negative shades,Saurabh shukla gives an excellent able support in the whole film with his natural acting. The negatives of the film ( pace little gets slow in between and also showing a bit of over the top violence). But overall Tadap is an entertaining watch showing how Boys truly love 👏👏👌, I rate it a 6.8/10.

The story was not interesting until intermission, but in the original(rx100) they keep us engaged, but in tadap you will get bored till intermission. The second part and climax acting was done very well by ahan shetty, the horror and pain can be felt from his acting.

Tadap portrays the true face of women. False love always have sad ending. Songs are pretty good but the film could have been little better. The problem with the movie is it's screenplay. Ahan Shetty did a decent job. Tara Sutariya in a different role is good. She looked very beautiful in the movie. Saurav Shukla is also good. Overall Tadap is a average movie with a good message "Don't trust any girl" that's what I liked most in the movie.

It could be even much better like it's original Rx100. It fails to hold the suspense and grip of original movie. Ahan shetty as a debutant good, tara is ok. Those who had not seen Rx 100 can watch for one time.

Had a lot of expectations since I loved rx100. That movie was nuts man....especially the female lead. Here I could only see intimate scenes with no passion. Chemistry is also half baked. There was great passion between the two leads in the original one. Payal Rajput oozed cunning innocence and sensuality at the same time. Here Tara couldn't be even 10 % of her in this film. Her dialog delivery sucks. In whole film she was acting like she is doing an ad film. Ahan looks good only in action or fight scenes. He can't act in emotional scenes. Wish they had brought rather mature and experienced actors for this remake. Also this film didn't have the same intensity and rawness that the original one had. In short , they successfully BUTCHERED another good movie.
