My son wanted to watch this show. So we did. He loved it. As an adult I actually got into the show and laughed quite a bit. All in all a great show to watch with the kids.

The creative TV series Go, Dog. Go! based on the book by P.D Eastman is completely satisfying. Every element of traditional animated shows is used to create a brand new, originally entertaining series. With intriguing animation and impressive voice-over acting, Go, Dog, Go is a must-see for young viewers!

Each of the nine episodes follows Tag Barker (Michela Luci) in her adventures through Pawston with her friend Scooch Pooch (Callum Shoniker). Together, they solve problems and have fun. There are two individual stories per episode, with the same general characters. The antagonist is primarily Frank, (David Berni), who stands in the way of Tag and Scooch.

Throughout the series, I am impressed time after time with its amazing animation. While it is colorful and fun; it is also fairly realistic. The dogs look so real and cute, I want to hug them! Something that makes this show even more special is the creative way that it uses so many elements from P.D. Eastman's original book and creates a whole new world out of it. All of the main story parts are included and more are added such as a doorbell shop, a racecar track and so much more. All these locations and lots of extra events are important to the story. One of my favorite aspects of the film is when the dogs sing. It's very clever and funny. The creative story is amazing, but the acting is even better. With such cute, specific-to-character performances, I almost wondered if these characters are real! There is only one minor issue that most likely isn't noticeable to little kids - some of the episodes are repetitive. Most of the time, the series doesn't change the plot very much from one story to the next. That doesn't make much of a dent in my overall enjoyment of this series however.

The message that Tag, Scooch and all of their friends convey is that teamwork and kindness are best. They work together to problem solve and help out dogs around town. Sometimes there are additional themes for individual episodes.

I give Go, Dog. Go! 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 3 to 7. Reviewed by Kyla C., KIDS FIRST!

With soulless merchandise-driven crap like Mighty Express and Rainbow Rangers being mass-marketed to kids, this show, which is instead based on a book from 1961, was a pleasant surprise. Going into "Go Dog Go!" I didn't know what to expect, and I thought it looked rather lame at first. I was cautious because of Wildbrain's involvement because I don't particularly like them, but this show was of surprising quality.

The animation is bright and colorful, but not eye-bleeding neon. Plus, the fur on the dogs is very detailed. The characters look happy, expressive, and cuddly. The show has a 50s-60s aesthetic, which makes sense because as I said, the book was made in 1961.

Adam Peltzman helms the show, and he has a great track record of working on preschool shows with clever writing and strong characters like Wallykazam and Odd Squad. The show is fine but not my favorite and I wouldn't watch it everyday because the characters don't seem to written strongly enough, they're all just nice and excitable, which is a huge problem with modern preschool shows. Being nice isn't the only personality trait. You need your characters to have flaws that kids to relate to, because no one's perfect. Shows like Xavier Riddle and Ready Jet Go do a great job of making flawed yet likable characters.

Admittedly, the writing here isn't as strong as those shows, and so there's not much benefit for parents, but the best thing about the show that parents need to know is that it's not annoying at all. Kids will love it, I'm sure.

But I'd rather watch Wallykazam.

All right, Netflix! Congratulations. I like the book about P.D. Eastman on Go, Dog, Go! It was amazing! I'm proud of you. :)

My 3 yr old daughter has watched the whole first season 3 times now and it has only been out for 2 days lol. She loves the book and now loves watching this!! Looking forward to more seasons!!!

My kids gave this a try yesterday and they LOVE it - we hope more seasons will be added in the future. My favorite are the Barkapellas!

Decent animation, good analogies, but it promotes eating animals and their byproducts which, in turn, is actually promoting animal cruelty so we'll be turning off.

My almost 2 year old just keeps rewatching all the episodes!! Season 2 pretty please!!!

This show is the best, even I love it after watching it 25+ times. Please make another season. My 14 month old loves this show more than anything. He never sit still except when I put this show on.

I know I'm immature to watch this thing, but it's a very cute and beautiful cartoon, because the quality of this 3D animation is much higher than the old cartoons like Jimmy Neutron, Fanboy and Chum Chum and The Penguins of Madagascar, because of the eyes, the furs, the paws, a modern look and the vibrant colors.

It's a really cool cartoon to watch, but the cat is my favorite pet and when it comes to dogs it's sometimes, while the series launches season 3, there are cats like Kit and Tom, and a year later, the fourth season has more cats and more new characters. It's a family series, it has to do with magic, sports, friendship and adventure.

This show was amazing ! ! I adored the characters , and the dog and cat puns were hilarious . I loved the story line for each episode and how they all connected. The addition of cats in season 4 was a fantastic touch . It was a truly great adaptation of the book . I'm hoping for a season 5 , 6, or possibly 7 . Or perhaps a spin - off series or season focusing on Kit's life before she arrived in Pawston , to see a series ( or season ) about Scooch's life on the farm before he came to Pawston . I think both would be incredibly interesting and entertaining . I loved how each year (2021 - 2023 ) a new season has released.

First off, I am an adult man that has no kids yet, but my wife and I plan to be parents within a few years so we watch kids' shows to get a catalog of good content for our future child. And in my opinion, this show is by far one of the best. It may not be 'Bluey' in terms of deep and emotional writing, but this show is plain and simple fun and laughs. There's no toilet humor (a major plus), and in my opinion, there's not a single unlikable character, which I think is rare to find in a show, especially one meant for children. Even the antagonists, Frank and Beans, are arguably two of the genuinely funniest characters in the show. Tag and Scooch are sweet and lovable as the two main leads, but each has their own minor flaws to work through and are by no means perfect characters. Tag is typically the one learning lessons by the end of the episodes, but the morals are not phoned-in or told in a way that talks down to the audience. Sometimes, there's even no moral to be learned at all, which is perfectly fine too.

This show is educational in terms of being socially-proactive in one's community, which is a breath of fresh air compared to many cartoons just teaching children their colors, ABC's, and 1-2-3's. But even more than education, this show focuses on comedy and simply making the viewer laugh and grow to love these characters.

The animation is great too, to me the quality consistently looks more like something better-suiting a Dreamworks MOVIE rather than a Netflix series. The textures are all amazing too - the dogs' fur looks like real fur and not just plastic, like some other 3D kids' shows.

If you're looking for a deeper and more emotionally-mature kids' show like Bluey, then this show may not be for you, but if you just want to relax and watch some cute and colorful dogs going on fun, low-stakes adventures, this I highly recommend it and give it all my praises. If nothing else, 'Go, Dog. Go!' has a lot of heart and soul.

My only, ONLY complaint is that there's no merchandise for this show! Please, Dreamworks or Netflix or whoever makes those decisions, please give us some 'Go, Dog. Go' toys!

Me and my husband started watching this once season 2 came out as soon as we had our son.

We are die hard fans. We Can quote the all the episodes and songs and our song now sings along.

It teaches all the good traits and qualities you want in a child. No foul language, brattiness and it's not over stimulating. The animations are amazing! Even our siblings, parents and their kids have started watching it and absolutely adore the show!

I don't understand why there isn't toys on the shelves yet for this show! We have looked everywhere for plush animals and toys pertaining to the show but can't find any yet. Hopefully they do soon bc there is so much money to be made from it!
