This is a good show - up there with other true crime shows. It's just such a shame they chose a terrible host. She says "can you believe this!?" And "I know! I don't understand it either!" "All right ya'll" "ya'll with me? Are you holding your breath? I know I am!"

Honestly, it's patronising and unnecessary. She is deliberately way over the top with mannerisms, body language and tone trying much too hard to make the content more "entertaining"? This to me is disrespectful to the victims of these crimes. I get people may not agree with me, just my opinion.

Good crime show... lots of cases that I haven't seen before.. I don't care for the tabloid style format, it's unfortunate because content is really good, the cases are already interesting..To me the fake dramatics are more reality show style than newsy crime show.. it's annoying but I still watch but not a deal breaker.. 20/20 and Dateline type style format is better.. the host needs to be more reporter like and less jerry springer show... streaming app suggested this show because I watch a lot of 48 hours... crime documentaries.. .. Maybe the other seasons are better. I just started watching 2019!

It would be nice to see more black people elevate their hosting style with educated grace and professionalism. I understand it is aired BET (which is no longer a positive respectable black network), but this is a TRUE CRIME based show, yet it seems too scripted and animated. If I were a survivng relative to any of the victims, I would be appalled and disappointed that my loved ones story was not told with more class and seriousness. If the 2019 host could just report and narrate the crime without the lip-smacking, head-rolling & slang-speaking. This is NOT the movie "Player's Club". We MUST do better!

I've learned more details about these stories through Murder and Thirst. I believe that BET will capture the young audience especially. I must admit that these stories consist of black men that just can not handle money, sucess or respect for women. If I hear another man say " I love the women" I'm gonna scream. They don't even love their own mothers let alone women. Condoms are cheap. A life is priceless. Ladies WE must value ourselves. Money is the root of all evil. Ladies stop being fools for money, get your trinkets and move on. Learn how to be a pimptress instead of being tricked.

Despite what the other reviewer said, I love LisaRae. She's just keeping it real. I wished more seasons would come out too. Thanks BET. Bring us more true crime shows.
