Gotro humanity, is the best message from this movie, liked the overall presentation of this movie.

Beyond the barriers of religious beliefs lies the most gifted concept named "humanity" & with "Gotro", Shiboprasad-Nandita do their best to validate their point through a simplistic storyline and a generic message. As easy as it may seem, the message that was conveyed wasn't so easy to grasp for many even today. The attempt to showcase the core of humanity with such grit itself deserves a lot of praise much kore than the film. For a one-time watch, "Gotro" is a delightful treat nevertheless!

No one could have been better for this role than Nigel himself. A beautiful chemistry between Nigel Akkara and Anashua Majumder. Two opposite poles but never ending bond between a son and his mother-like.

I am a big fan of Nigel Akkara. I love to see him in different roles Seeing his acting, I always felt he is experimental with his characters. Nigel has performed several lead and few supporting roles but he never did injustice to any role he played on screen. Bengali film industry should know how to use his talent.

The plot , The Simplicity, the thoughtful message it gives throughout the film & The performances by such amazing artists needs to seen by every Bengali. i am so moved after watching the film , bcoz with such a simple story they raised many topics and very smoothly without hurting anyone delivered the message. Go n experience the Magic of Tollywood , The talent of Bengali Cinema. I feel pity for those who can only see the hindu muslim angle and bash such an innocent film. watch the trailer , read the synopsis , and if u feel , give this movie a chance. you wont be disappointed.

To me and probably to many this is Nigel's best performance till date. Would love to see him in many upcoming films. Bengali cinema should use Nigel Akkara properly. He is made for every genres.

A story or content is the lead character in films nowadays A weak content will not uplift a film however good actors perform. The character of Tarik Ali has been beautifully portrayed by Nigel Akkara. Only for Nigel sir I have seen this film twice in theatre and also in ott. A cult movie.

The movie is almost about religion, which is humanity, caste, which is also humanity. But no one knows, from where they will learn the humanity. Is humanity is a common sense of a man, so every man or woman has not same common sense or sense of humanity. It is a road topic to discuss. Leave it here. One of the stupidest movies it is, that's it.

The movie story , social massage ,song album perfectly matched.... I am a big fan of Sibhaprasad Nandita juti.....this time they don't disappointed me...the movie is like the whole family members get together and the movie just tight our bonds ....

I'm proudly say that Our Bengali movie is like that level now.

A content rich cinema can click with audience even though there are few loopholes in the performances. I loved the performance of Nigel Akkara. He has played several characters in many films. Each character was unique in it's own way but this is the best performance of Nigel till now. His essence made this film a cult one.

I am a big fan of Shiboprosad and Nandita Roy's duo. They always bring forth concepts which are unique and leaves a special message to the fans. Even in this film without hurting any religion the emotions were properly portrayed. Bengali cinema has got a new actor Nigel Akkara. Every dialogue he said was delivered with accurate expressions. I was mesmerized to see his acting in Muktodhara but he completely did justice to the character Tarik Ali.

I just loved the film, even though some moments were little dragging but over all it is a must watch film. The actors have also done their act well. A special mention is deserved by Nigel Akkara. Well done 👍

Everything is below mediocre - poor script, acting, direction and cinematography! The plot is very predictable, actors are weak in portrayal of characters! The music and songs are so lame that you crib.
