Metro Sexual

Another comedy where you have to pay attention to the subtleties. My first big chuckle came when one of the characters slowly moved her phone across the table. Another laugh came out when I noticed the, albeit not so subtle, scratches that were on another characters neck. A lesser show would not have resisted putting in a line to explain the joke.

I often try to play on my phone while watching less imaginative shows. That won't work with this one. A look on a face, an inflection in in a voice, or camera angle missed will be regretted.

When there is more broad humor it fits in well with the character or the situation. This series is delightful if you give the attention it deserves.

Metro Sexual - A Missed Opportunity

Metro Sexual offers little of substance, failing to deliver a compelling story or memorable performances. The plot is thin and the pacing sluggish, making it a challenge to stay engaged.

However, the serie's one redeeming quality is its gorgeous Australian lead, who manages to hold your attention even when the narrative does not. Despite this, it's not enough to save the show from being forgettable. A bigger production could have had a much better impact.

Overall, Metro Sexual is not funny and not worth watching, aside from the talented main actor. The show falls short in almost every other aspect.
