When a man catches fire, dying in under a minute, an aspiring reporter sets out to investigate the mysterious combustion and crosses paths with a local psychiatrist.
Another victim: a mother burned to death in front of her child. Despite mutual distrust, Louise and Gabriel agree to cooperate, but Louise has reason to doubt Gabriel.
The deaths are now signed at each scene: Moloch; the victims seem to be deliberately targeted; Gabriel witnesses a fiery killing, and Louise searches for leads.
The newspaper prints Louise's story of Moloch's claims that he is punishing the wicked; Moloch reveals his next murder, Gabriel, in his grief, has a revelation.
