Do not know how I'm doing have a 6.7 when other reviews 8 and 10. Really moves and holds interest good acting characters cops dealing with underworld.

Season 1 , 6 episodes very fast moving with good full characters...real people, real action, real emotions. Not sure just how to add season 2 here on IMDB. IT IS great too. Watching it on Mhz Networks. Vert well done.

A treat for those who got into Season One is that the IMDb page has not been updated and there is an unmentioned Season Two.

I'd been apprehensive about this as I have often found Norwegian dramas to be somewhat staid. I can even remember the time when the telly was on for just 4 hours a day.

This series though was full of action and swiftly changing scenes and set in several countries.

It was an advantage to have the same characters carry on and the stories interlinked with the same baddies as Season One in the next season despite the complete difference in action and plotlines.

It's nearly twenty years on now and there wasn't a third outing which is a shame. Despite showing its age, I recommend watching all the episodes - I did so over three days.

/refers to Seasons 1 and 2/ On the crest of the popularity wave of Scandinavian thrillers, the Norwegian series have remained in the shadow of Swedish and Danish ones. Also in my visual field, but in recent years, I have begun to settle a score and found multiple creations worth watching.

Among them, Kodenavn Hunter is a more "active" thriller, including power, intelligence, and politics, with topics and elements characteristic to Norway's reputation in the world (sociable refugee policy, international peace negotiations, gender equality). At times, the sympathy feelings and approaches tend to be approached in a too deep manner, but the logic of events is still maintained and viewers do not lose touch with main events and characters.

Performances are also realistic, without sticking out, more a real team cast; however, due to the apparent limited number of film actors, several of them have roles in similar series, sometimes creating confusion... But still, if you like intense political thrillers, Kodenavn Hunter is definitely for you, but you might want to watch all episodes in succession.
