"The Naked Mile" and "Beta House" are two spin off movies from the "American Pie" franchise that I like. For a Direct - to DVD it is a solid, decent hilarious film. It could have been better, but it was made on low budget movie. It is a another good movie. I enjoy this film just like I enjoy "The Naked Mile". This is well "American Pie" lovely film, my fourth favorite "American Pie" film.

Erik Stifler (John White) and Dwight Stifler (Steve Talley) both returns in this sequel. Erik Stifler now is dumped from his girlfriend Tracy (Jessy Schram), goes to college and joins fraternity Beta House which his cousin Dwight Stifler is the leader of the Betas. A group of this nerds geeks are threaten the Betas and decide to destroy the college group once and for all. Geeks leader is Edgar Willis (Tyrone Savage) and he want's to shut down Stifler and the Betas forever. So Edgar challenges the Beta House to the Greek Olympiad, with the winners taking the loser's House. So Dwight asks Noah Levenstein yes Jim's dad (Eugene Levy) for his help to win this competition.

More characters from the previous installment "The Naked Mile" return back to this movie: John White, Steve Talley, Jake Siegel, Eugene Levy, Christopher McDonald, Dan Petronijevic, Jax Smith and Jordan Prentice has a cameo role as Rock.

Here are the actors and actresses from "The Naked Mile" that does not return I don't know why: Jessy Schram, Ross Thomas, Maria Ricossa, Jordan Madley and Melanie Merkosky I wish that everyone would return. That kinda dissapointed me that these actors and sexy actresses like Jessy Schram did not return for the sequel. I don't know why actor Ross Thomas did not return to this sequel because, he was one of the main stars from the previous movie that was closest friend of Erik.

I always liked The Naked Mile and Beta House spin off movies from American Pie they are good decent solid Direct to DVD movies.

Actress Meghan Heffern as Ashley Thomas new love interest for Erik did a good decent job and she was a fine beautiful lady. John White and Steve Talley were both great and they did a fine job. I enjoy their characters Stiflers. The cast did a fine job and the acting was solid in this movie. I enjoy Eugene Levy as Noah Levenstein in all these movies. Eugene Levy is gorgeous, smart and intelligent as he shines in the role as Noah Levenstein as he does other people his advices and helps them out. Andrew Waller did a good job directing this film I like the ideas they went too good direction from the director.

The problems that I did had was the Greek Olympiad contest between Betas and Geeks. That tournament between those two fraternities was not well executed, I was disappointed. The contest was already used in Revenge of the Nerds (1984). Nerds in that film challenged Alpha Beta in to Greek Games and in that film it was well executed, here it wasn't. Some jokes wasnt that funny at all.

The story is a bit thin, but that is the beauty of the whole thing. This movie come in December 2007. I really like this film, they are some problemns I did not like. Coozeman (Jake Siegel) when he has sex with his girlfriend in the finale Denise (Sarah Power) and that sperm fly's in his face, I thought that was gross and disgusting. I hate it when Edgar had a sex with a sheep disgusting. Overall I like the film 7/10 in my opinion MILES way better than Band Camp and The Book of Love those movies are stinkers, Beta House isn't.

Well American pie beta house is not you're Hollywood Box office smash The movie goes straight to DVD and the old cast from the previous American pie are back. The story line is not the best but it is not the worst even with that I still found my self enjoying this Film Beta house is mainly for college kids and people with a good sense of humor, Based on silly tricks,frat house,drinking,a lot of nudity, not for you're Average thirteen year old. If u can get passed the weak storyline and u kinda like the idea of kids going crazy at college u will love this movie. This is not a family movie don't let you're kids watch this movie

i just watched the movie i was afraid it's gonna disappoint me. i was rather surprised at the end though. The American pie franchise is still in my favorite franchise movies of all times. yes, it won't be true if i say that i enjoyed it as mush as i enjoyed the original ones. beta house along with the previous two pies definitely lost something that the first two pies had.it is not gonna become a classic as the first two already did. but what the hell-it is still funny with a lot of good moments and i think it should be the first movie to pick if you wanna have fun and relax after a hard day at work or school. beta house deserves 6/10 but i gave it 7/10 just for being another slice of PIE.

The later American Pie movies are basically nothing like the earlier, classic, ones. They are cheap, fast, cash-ins, on the success and the name of the earlier movies and are incredibly simplistic and immature ones. However I won't deny that these sort of movies definitely have an audience out there. Teenagers will most probably still have fun with this movie, especially when they watch it with a couple of friends and a couple of cold ones, if they are old enough for that of course.

Really when judging this movie seriously, there is very little positive to say about it. The story is all over the place and is being filled with some highly unlikely events and characters. Really, if all schools and fraternities were like this, society would have crumbled down by now. And it's also obviously not being very realistic and actually a quite annoying thing how all of the girls are perfectly pretty ones and the guys all are well toned and can basically get every willing girl with a snap of their finger. But lets hope that nobody has the illusion that these sort of movies portray anything out of the real life and tries to be like any of the characters out of this movie.

You could say that this movie serves its purpose well enough for the right audience but of course that just doesn't make this a good movie as well. But nevertheless, for what it is, it's still being a quite amusing movie, you just shouldn't think too much about while watching it. The movie didn't annoy me as much as the previous American Pie presents movie did but it's still being a pretty bad and definitely simplistic movie.

These sort of movies probably feel more like an extended television series episode, with only some more nudity added to it than anything else really. Which makes you think; why haven't they attempted it yet to make a television series out of the American Pie franchise? It's probably cheaper to do so and you can potentially reach a wider audience with as well. The American Pie series have reach a level by now that the characters and stories feel way more appropriate for television than movie really.

Switch your brain off, get drunk or just turn yourself into a young male teenager again, in order to get a maximum amount of fun out of this movie.

I have to hand it to the creative team behind these "American Pie" movies. "Direct To DVD" typically is synonymous with cheap, incompetent film-making. Yet last year I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself thoroughly enjoying the DVD sequel "The Naked Mile". The filmmakers took advantage of the opportunity to deliver a raunchy, yet funny little film. This year they offer up the followup, "Beta House". This is the honest truth, "Beta House" makes the first few "American Pie" movies look like "The Little Mermaid".

This is no holds barred, tasteless, laugh-out loud fun. Sure, the story is a bit thin, but that's the beauty of the whole thing. Within the first 10 minutes we're introduced to the all the main characters, the new supporting characters, get a handful of raunchy gags, meet the villains, and establish the general plot-line. With all that out of the way, the movie becomes a no-limits ride. The gags are a plenty, and they DID NOT hold back in this one. I'm talking male semen, urine, dildos, chicks-with-dicks, sex with sheep, female orgazim sprays, and plenty more. Not to mention the fact that not a minute goes by without boobs or a sex scene.

Returning from "The Naked Mile" are John White, Jake Siegel, Steve Talley, and Eugene Levy (in a similar supporting role as the last few films). The entire cast does fine work. Steve Talley (Dwight Stifler), in particular, has a great energy and screen presence. I predict good things for him. The film is also loaded with great movie references for those who keep their eyes open. By far the biggest laugh of the film for me was "The Deerhunter" parody. Classic.

The bottom line is, if you're a fan of the series, you'll feel right at home with "Beta House". It really pushes the limits of good taste, but in the end is pretty damn funny.
