The Girl in the Gator

No matter how many times I watch this show I love it. I watch at least two episodes every night before bed. I love the books and I love the show. A combines great storytelling great comedy and Great cast with a lot of great special guest stars. If you love the Kathy Reich books then you'll love this show because it's based on the books. At least they left and opening for the show to possibly come back at some point down the road. If you love crime shows that are protocols mixed in with a little bit of comedy and heart then hopefully the show will meet all those criterias for you. I especially loved episodes where Cyndi lauper's in it.

This is the first of several episodes where we see Dr. Wyatt using his psychology skills on Booth. Brennan is later involved in the sessions as what they do and how they act are related to each other. Dr. Wyatt is probably one of the first to actually hint that the relationship between Booth and Bones is one of a couple in love.

In this episode, Booth is still pretty frustrated with allowing Epps to die so he takes his frustration out on an ice cream truck. The scene is rather funny, but a bit shocking at the same time. I'm thinking a person would be fired for doing such a thing in the real world.

Brennan's not able to work with Booth in this episode is shown as frustration on her own part, but she adjusts to the situation and gives us a good case to figure out.

I'm talking about the wonderful Stephen Fry, to whom we are introduced in this episode.

I so enjoy the interaction between Agent Booth and Dr Wyatt, and the rather clever way the doctor gets Booth to open up (and build his BBQ in the process). The ongoing case of the body in the crocodile is nowhere near as interesting as listening to Stephen Fry playing the archetypal, public school educated toff, (i say that in the nicest possible way), but it is still very good of course. Mind you, if I'm being truthful I could listen to Mr Fry babble on for hours, I adore his intellectual, upper class tones. Anyway, that's enough British trumpet blowing for one review....after all, I am little biased where our floppy haired wordsmith is concerned :) Just watch and enjoy!

This was a nice episode. Booth is still reeling from the death of Epps. Killing has been a part of his life, from his military background to his work with the FBI. One day he is annoyed by an ice cream truck and shoots out the plastic clown on the roof and doesn't bat an eye. He is sent to shrink and is put on leave. His encounter with the guy proves to be a major factor in Booth's life because he has not faced some realities. The main plot is a young college student on spring break, eaten by a huge alligator. She was part of a group of girls being exploited by a sleazy guy who had achieved quite a bit of fame. Because Booth can't help her, Bones works with a handsome guy named Sullivan who is looking to leave the bureau at some point. The two of them work together quite well, and there is a spark. In another place, Angela makes a careless mistake which has dire consequences.
