How can a show carry on for this long? It's the same thing every episode: Get drunk, fight, have sex, talk crap about everyone, repeat. I feel like I'm watching people with the mindset and hormones of a high schooler with the brains of a 6 year old. So at current we have Kristen and Leah, the self appointed head honchos of the house, who walk around with their noses turned up at everything and everyone. Really? Who exactly do they think they're better than? Kristen is a ditsy blonde who lives off of mommy's money. Now THAT'S bad. And ironically Leah, who talked so much crap about how Kayleigh was a follower, has in turn become Kristen's little puppet. And sorry, but if you're working that hard to prove that you aren't a lesbian, obviously you are. I guess making out with everyone in the house and having a 3some in the shower was someone else. If they really don't care about the other girls and think that everyone is so trashy and beneath them, why do they spend all of their time talking about them and bothering to take the time and effort to constantly harass them? Obviously they feel threatened and are extremely insecure if they need to do that to keep themselves feeling worthy and self important. I'm sorry but how does being considered "bad" constitute people who back-stab, are selfish, immature, arrogant, egotistical, self righteous, drunk, ignorant promiscuous children, who think that the answer to life's problems are getting wasted and physically attacking anyone who doesn't do what they like or want? In the sense of the word when parents scold their children for being bad, I can definitely say that yes, they are bad. Like misbehaving little children, who throw tantrums when things don't go their way. Once they get back into the real world without the security and false comforts of a huge mansion and cameras on them, they're going to quickly realize they don't "run" anything. And when you verbally assault, spit on, or vandalize people's belongings, you go to jail. Wake up.
The basic format of this show is that a bunch of violent and extremely violent women "Bad girls Club" all live together in one house. They get drunk, they party, gossip, and of course, fight. The fights are probably the most entraining part of the series. I wish it could keep going! This show kept me alive, honestly.
This show isn't even empowering to women. It just shows how trashy these ladies are. All of them cuss like sailors. You can't get one sentence out of them without hearing the F word. Also many of these girls are very violent. If they weren't on television they would probably be in jail. I haven't done research on any of the girls but I would not be surprised if they don't have histories of assault and battery charges, or even indecent exposure in public charges. There was one episode I watched where the girl was in a club and she was waving her vagina around and her tampon string was hanging out. Some might find that funny, but that is just disgusting, and shows that girl has no class. I've watched about 5 episodes so far just to see the plot and there is none. There is a line they like to throw around which is something along the lines of 'don't let things get under your skin'. Um by cussing and throwing punches it shows that the comments are getting under your skin. So pretty much I've come to the conclusion it's a show about hypocrisy, violence, drugs, and being sluts. This show is not fit for teens to watch. I would not even want my own mother to know I watched this show and I'm 23, that is how bad this show is.
The description of this show says that it is "an experiment" in moderating the behavior of young women (who have anti-social tendencies). Now, fifteen seasons into this experiment, I am "lucky" to have encountered this phenomenon. It does not take much watching to realize they gave up on the experimental behavior modification a long time ago.
Its most current incarnation involves four sets of sisters, all from the east coast. You might wonder why anyone would want to be on a show that brands her "bad"? It must be money or notoriety. It can't be a burning desire to produce quality television.
"Bad Girls Club" caters to the lowest levels of taste. Over the years we have seen other shows that traffic in this tripe, and BGC incorporates the worst of all of them. Imagine the violent and tasteless parts of "Real World", the classless posings of any "Real Wives" show, the sensationalistic catfights of "The Jerry Springer Show". Healthy doses of unhealthy binge drinking fuel the action.
In fact, these young women have been raised on TV shows that celebrate the cult of infamous behavior. They have seen Omarosa and any number of other women who have sold their personal sex tapes or carefully honed a made-for-TV bad-girl personality and reaped the admiration of so-called fans. Celebrity seems to be reward in itself, regardless of how low one is willing to go to be controversial. In the process, certain behaviors have been promoted.
Now it only takes one (perhaps innocent) ill-chosen word to trigger tirades of PC militarism or physical violence because of "disrespect". They parade with pride their willingness to do battle. "Respect" doesn't mean what it used to. These women can rightfully claim no dishonor of their respect, because they disrespect themselves. Still, they pretend to be offended if anyone crosses lines of behavior or says words they find inflammatory. Apparently no one has ever told them that violence should be a last resort. By being so sensitive to every imagined slight, they reveal themselves to be weak, not strong.
Certainly some of the action is staged. Regardless, what value does this show have? There are so many good shows on TV now that watching this drivel is a crime against taste.

I haven't seen every season but the ones I have seen are fun and entertaining. Is this rocket science or educational? Obviously no... However if you enjoy reality tv where there's a lot of drama and excitement, this might be for you.
