A group of friends travels through time in a special machine to collect four elemental essences before Earth freezes. Their adventure spans different eras, from prehistoric times to pirate battles, with unexpected encounters along the way.

Our heroes need to take a trip in time, in a Time Machine, in order to recoup the essence of the four elements before the Earth gets frozen. The Gang will face the dangers of the Ancient History with Pitheco, will help Tom-Tom to save the Forest, will fight with the Bubbly against the pirates and will even meet themselves as babies in the past.—Anonymous

Franklin is researching a time machine by the umpteenth time. Meanwhile Jimmy Five plots another infallible plan against Monica and explains to Smudge how to proceed. The plan does not work as schemed and Monica and Maggy chase the boys that hide in Franklin's laboratory. Meanwhile Franklin is in a crucial part of his experiment with the fusion of the four elements to get a fifth. When Monica throws her little rabbit Samson on Jimmy Five and Smudge, she misses her target and reaches the time machine spreading the four elements through time. Franklin explains that if they do not recover the four elements very soon, it will create a time paradox and time on Earth will get frozen. Due to the short time, they should split in their quest. Now Monica and Blu go to the prehistory to recover the Fire; Jimmy Five goes to the Thirteenth Century to recover the Air; Smudge goes to the past in a forest to recover the Water; and Maggy goes to a few years in the past to recover the Earth from a baby Monica.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
