A Brilliant Season Opener

When Rik Myall and Adrian Edomdson are in this type of form there is no funnier British comedy duo. They are fantastic.

Richard Richard (Myall) and Edward Elizabeth Hitler (Edmondson) are back, in a side splittingly brilliant season opener.

Plot In A Paragraph: Richard and Eddie have gone to the carnival and get stranded on the big wheel, when everybody leaves for the night.

It is just these two actors for the full episode, and it is a tribute to these to comedy genius's that nobody else is needed and the show gets by on the great chemistry of the two leads.

I'm currently rewatching these with my nine year old son, and he loves them as much as I did back when they first aired in the 1990's

Eddie says that the fairground music reminded him of his dad's funeral. But in many of the other episodes Eddie says that he has no idea who his father was.

Richie: What? Well, who did?
Eddie: Slip Digby.
Richie: Slip Digby! The organist?
Eddie: Well, that's not what they called him in court.
Richie: Well, what was his winning caption?
Eddie: "I like Stork Margarine because, I've only got one leg."
[They're impressed]
Richie: Not bad.
Eddie: Clever bastard! Why didn't we think of that one?
Richie: Well, I told you we weren't going to get very far with "I like Stork Margarine because, I've enclosed a fiver, mum's the word!"
Eddie: Well, we never posted it, did we?
Richie: There wasn't a lot of point, you took the fiver out, didn't you?
