Hannah Montana

I was a teenager and fell in love with this girl.

It's pretty obvious it was a bad show, but I was enjoying it back then :)

Let's just say that I saw some of the episodes of Hannah Montana and I thought they were decent with some funny humor. But then, as the show went on, it started to become repetitive because some of the characters had no personalities other than being one-dimensional morons! At least the show had ended a year ago. Don't get me wrong, it had a very decent premise, but it was just executed so terribly.

Hannah Montana was alright in some of the episodes, but later becomes annoying and comes across as somewhat boring and unrealistic to the children. My favorite character, out of all the others who were also unrealistic, was Miley Cryus's father Billy Ray Cyrus because he teaches his daughter some lessons in order to help her out with her situations. He also gave me some goofy hilarious moments throughout the show.

Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment were very decent, Moises Arias can sometimes be funny, but later becomes so annoying and uninteresting. The rest of the cast were OK, but nothing special.

The show has some pretty good songs, including the theme song, "I Learn From You", and more, but only some of them became unrealistic and repetitive.

Overall, Hannah Montana isn't as bad as everyone thinks it is, but with better original songs, better characters, and better episodes, it would've been so so much better!

I do not understand all of these horrible reviews! This Disney Channel show is amazing! I am 17 years old and I watch it all the time. I don't miss an episode. I have a life, I have friends. Some of them do not understand why I watch this show as often as I do. I have a 7 year old sister, so maybe that is why a little. Miley Cyrus' character, Hannah Montana, can be funny, but honestly, I think she is the least funny character on the show. Her dad has some funny puns, but Mitchel Musso, Emily Osment, Jason Earles, and Moises Arias make the show. If not for these characters, I probably would have stopped watching this show seasons ago. However, together, the cast is wonderful!

10 years ago, no one would have suspected that a show about a middle school girl who lives a double life as a normal teen and a pop sensation would become an overnight hit - but it has, and that type of show takes the form of Mickey's new pride and joy Hannah Montana, starring a fresh-faced Miley Cyrus (yes, "Achy Breaky's" daughter).

So the premise, well, I have already explained it. But the catch is, for some reason, she has to keep her double identity a secret. The only people who know are her family, friends, and her on-again-off-again boyfriend. It seems easy enough to keep the cat in the bag, but paparazzi photos that contain evidence and suspicious schoolmates are easy - and frequent - threats to the ordeal.

The acting is all over the place on this show. The actors can be over-the-top and crazy very frequently, and in a second can switch to dull and lifeless, be it in a comedic or dramatic scene. One actor who manages to (slightly) neutralize herself is Emily Osment - who plays the main character's best friend - from the last two installments of Spy Kids, and she does quite a good job of that. A bright future for her as an actress can definitely be seen. Mitchel Musso and Jason Earles have great comedic timing but are way too wild with their acting on occasion. Billy Ray Cyrus as the father (meaning he doesn't have to act much as he's Hannah's father in real life) often seems like he's reading off a teleprompter and shows no emotion. His daughter, Miley, the leading lady, definitely has some comedic timing but needs to work more on her acting if she's expected to carry a show.

The story lines are mostly good and have some kind of moral value to them. But as with typical Disney tradition, the values are never subtle. But that's OK, because the 18 minutes leading up to the 2-minute cheesiness are mostly enjoyable. And Miley has quite a bit of singing talent. The acting is mediocre and the plots can be shallow at times, but overall, this is enjoyable and kids will love it, which is the most important thing for a show like this. Hannah Montana rates as a 6 out of 10.

Some people say on here it's like That's So Raven, which is false. This show is great, I give it 7 out of 10. It just makes me laugh on a sad day. I can always look up to this show to make my frown to turn upside down. People in my grade feel dumb watching Disney channel, especially this show, but it's like, don't care what people say. Have you noticed that Disney sort of becoming teen or Junior High Standards, which is really good. This show has great actors and actress' in it. They share their talent with us, so we should respect them for that. Also, even though the show might have stupid things in it, it still is funny to me, and I still like it. Anyone can relate to them. Mitchel,(Oliver) the sweet guy, but gets picked on by the mean kids, and likes a pop diva. Emily, (Lilly) she is best friends with Miley, she tries her best at standing up for people, and always knows when to seek revenge. Miley, she wants to be a normal girl, with no problems in her life because of being a pop star. In a way, you can relate to them. That's my comments.
