Acting is so much real. Now a days it is impossible to watch bangla movie with family and now they make such a disgusting movie full Love story and Nudity. Thanks Humayun Ahmed sir for Making this Awesome cinema for us. Shawon's acting was so good as Ashalata. And Humayun faridi as Liberation commander. Such a great movie based on Our Liberation War.

Honestly an amazing movie for it's time. The story has a great variety of characters that demonstrated the type of people during war times. amazing characterisation. You have two females with small children who are afraid to speak up, but still mothers who discipline and protect their children.A Hindu man with his blind father and grandmother, and is the sole protector. A German engineer who may be the only educated one in the group, but also the most entitled. A tempered boat owner and his widowed daughter in law. A maulana sharing different political beliefs but is kind and protective of his pregnant wife . Two drunk boatmen. And finally, a young naive but goodwilled woman and her strict mother in-law, and caring but pushover husband. These characters has such heart breaking and touching back stories. You can't help but understand all of their flaws, why they're the way they are, especially given their times and hardships during a war. And ofc, the freedom fighters. Amazing group of men sneakily protecting anything they can. Movie may be old, and acting and graphics may seem boring, but the story and history is captivating, patriotic, and heartwarming. Amazing movie, amazing plot, amazing characters.

Best directing, best acting and deserve an Oscar price. This is Humayun Ahmed best directing, he ever did. Although the settings its common but the acting was excellent. I think he should of pick Zayed Hassin for this movie. Riaz did pretty good job. Humayun serif did the best acting. This movie its better than gladiator. The setting was pretty compared to other movies he did it before and compared to other director. Humayun Ahmed should make movies like this. He should some graphics for better picture and setting.I want to be in Humayun Ahmed movies for once, because he is a talented director and a person.He should make a movie about, the all time hit movie (DEVDAS), because the novel its in Bangla and he will do a tremendous job is he make this movie.
