Bad bad movie has no redeeming features!

It was evident 10 minutes into this movie that it was probably the biggest load of rubbish I have ever seen. I have watched plenty of boring "kids'" movies because I have a 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son, so we are subjected to some really bad "kiddies'" stuff. Even my 9 year old daughter commented that it was so bad - she wanted to stop watching. The story line is feeble, the acting is totally atrocious, the filming is bad - it's like watching a really bad foreign movie having been dubbed into English. There is no redeeming feature to this movie - we suggested to the shop that they have a special section made especially for this movie entitled, "Positively the worst movie I have ever seen".

Lacey Chabert wanting to do something different I can get on board with.

Lacey Chabert wanting to shed her wholesome 'Party of Five' image a bit I can see the logic in.

Unfortunately if you're going to do such things it helps to find a decent project, and this really isn't.

It's poor to say the least, and it's a crying shame to see someone clearly as likable and talented as Chabert being put through the motions on such a turgid and weak project such as this.

I'm not saying she should be stuck doing Hallmark films forever, but there has to be a happy medium between those and dross like this.

So bad it's unbelivable

I admit I watched this movie because it had Lacey Chabert in it. But nothing, absolutely nothing about this disaster of a film was worth watching. The acting, the script, directing, everything, and I mean everything is beyond stupid. I did watch the whole thing because I thought it can't possibly get worse, but I was wrong. From beginning to end, just a painful experience.

appalled

I am now 20 minutes into this film and I am truly appalled by the idea of it.

In these days of child abuse and child abduction so often in our news, this film thinks it is oh so very funny ...not ...to be kidnapping babies from a nursery to extort and blackmail men with. Well here in the UK, sorry everyone . ...she'd be in jail doing a lengthy sentence for extortion and child abduction.What is passed off here as a comedy is actually criminal.

Oh and the baby has gas in the restaurant. Puerile humour.

This film is definitely not funny .It is in bad taste and offensive to anyone who has ever lost a child in any sense of the word.

UK Channel 5 should remove it from the schedule.In fact I have switched it off.

lower budget, but well done

Cute cast, cute film, and well done especially considering the low budget. Rene Ashton-beautiful, the camera loves her. Makes me want to see what else she has done. The packaging makes one think that Lacey Chabert (Party of Five)is the star, but she has a supporting role in this. The writing could (maybe should) have been streamlined a bit and possibly a couple of scenes removed, and others added. Charming "make believe" type comedy. The good looking cast really make this film. You get the feeling that they had a blast making this. Kudos to Julia Duffy, expert Comedienne. There are several scenes that are actually hilarious...the action happens and the actors leave it up to the viewer to get the sly humor. They were humorous to me. . .I would watch this again. If you can get over the few shortcomings, it is an enjoyable romp.
