I'm only a third of the way through this series, but i can't help but comment, for i simply CANNOT get over how undeniably lovable this drama is.
I'm not the type of person who watches romance dramas as they just don't interest me, but i went against my better judgement simply because i'd heard all my friends raving about this show. And wow, was i ever impressed.
The story is essentially simple in its premise but has been made interesting by adding a mix of wit, slapstick humour and a great cast. I am not particularly a Rain fan and have never seen Song Hye-Kyo in anything previous to watching this show, but i was greatly impressed with their acting and the chemistry they shared.
I found myself from being completely non-plussed by the whole drama to start off with, to constantly giggling and squeeing at the television; a reaction that has rarely happened in all the years i've been watching TV dramas.
The only thing holding me back from giving it a 10/10 is the horrid wardrobe Yeong-Jae sports. I can't remember how many times i balked at the screen because he walked into the scene wearing yet another low-cut, cleavage revealing top and ridiculously mismatched pants, but i'm sure i would have made myself thoroughly hammered if i'd made a drinking game out of it ;D
Rain's man cleavage aside, this is a wonderful drama to watch; i'd definitely recommend it :)

After managing to see probably some 15-20 South Korean feature films produced between 1999 to 2005, I took the recommendation of the kind staff at my local Korean grocery store to check out the more popular TV series. Starring the rather lovely Song Hye-kyo, playing an internet novelist and the curiously monikered Rain as a wildly popular young movie star, on the one hand it's a good example of the quirky mix of slapstick comedy interspersed with rather sobering moments of heartbreak and frustration experienced by the characters. The surprising fact is that the first episode follows a similar plot line to House of Sand and Fog, which certainly wasn't a comedy and was absolutely full of despair. Girl inherits lovely house on the coast from parents, struggles financially, circumstances lead to her losing most of her possessions and having her home sold off underneath her feet, new owner has little sympathy at first. That's fortunately where the comparison ends! Plenty of moments of Song Hye-kyo screwing her face up in disgust by some awkward thing she's said or done, and Rain (wearing his rather strange low cut male-cleavage shirts) glancing into the ether whilst biting his lip do eventually lead to a building relationship between a very odd couple. Words can not describe how huge a hit this series was in much of Asia, so from even from this not so Asian reviewer, Full House holds a charming appeal.

If Iam going to comment in this perfect Korean series I must be Fair first of all, the acting is really amazing the main actors play their roll with comedy parts and drama parts, song hye kyo is Abrilliant actress, she cute , charm and lovely. i think every one can fall in love with her once see her. Bi Rain , proof that he is Master in everything, his cutest and charming take huge part of his acting. and see his cute smile with his anger act show how much he can, do the character very will. the story is about agirl who get cheated by her friends and they take her house to get money for their baby born, when she find out, that they sell it to some superstar, she refused to let it go, and accept to sign contract, to marry him in exchange of prevent the girls from stalk him. its great series about love and proud.don't miss it its diamond of Asian arts
This is a great starter for those who are interested in K-drama, or looking for a light, romance-comedy drama.. It's about this girl, Ji-Eun, an aspiring script-writer, who inherited this house named Full House(also the title of the drama) from her parents. Later, her friends cheated her and sold her house while she was having a vacation in China. During her vacation she met this superstar, Young-Jae who coincidently the one whom Ji-Eun's friends sold her house to. It'll later get all complicated and leads to a marriage contract between them. Ji-Eun will then falls for Young-Jae who's in love with his childhood friend, Hae-Won who is in love with their other friend, Min-Hyuk who likes Ji-Eun. It looks kinda complicated, but it's quite easy to understand, really... A two-thumbs up for this K-drama, mainly because of the chemistry between the two main leads, Rain and Song Hye Kyo as Young-Jae and Ji-Eun. A word of caution to those who are new to k-dramas... This will definitely hook you to other k-dramas, and you'll be left to wanting more k-dramas.. You have been warned.... (^^)
Corny repetitive and so crazy it's funny. Song Hye Kyo and Rain play a cute bickering couple who enter into a fake marriage but of course end up falling for each other. The fighting is the funny thing. The jokes are super corny. The secondary couple that creates the love square isn't as horrible as in some other Korean series. Although the secondary girl is quite annoying. The middle is really repetitive. Like in many pre 2010 series the producers should have cut half the episodes out. The fashions are an example of the worst of the early 2000s. Still the pair are likeable.
