In Search of Santa

After the 2004 recast, this was the first animated role for Hilary Duff & Haylie Duff respectively. They will voice again, about 8 years later, in Foodfight! (2012).

After Eugene pushes the raft in the water, Crystal uses a oar, but when Lucinds joins in her quest the second oar suddenly appears. After the leopard seal makes a hole in the raft and the Princesses jumped off of it, both oars disappeared.

The opening title is formed by Santa's magical dust (The important element in the movie) and the sparkly trail goes around the title for a several seconds before turning back into dust.

In 2004, the movie was acquired for distribution by Miramax (through Buena Vista Home Entertainment) for North America, and by Paramount Pictures International for non-American countries. Tundra even recruited Hilary Duff and Haylie Duff to replace almost all the original recordings of Princess Crystal and Princess Lucinda [thus its original version is unreleased to the public]. The end credits were updated to reflect the recasting and its copyright year updated to 2004. Miramax's additional credits were only available in North American release.
