60 Minute Makeover

I Like the show but hate Catherine Gee. All she does is get in the way, cause them to stop working and worst of all question the designer or worse, puts down the design. She serves no good purpose on the show. I liked it much better when the designer was the basically the host.

All of the reviews below are reflective 100% of what most of these British homes looked like BEFORE! Dreadful! But you cannot fake the homeowners responses. There's not time to fake it! I would say 100% of the owners seem absolutely thrilled. After all, you have to remember, what was there before! I absolutely love this show and what they do is damnably near miraculous. And it is not shoddy work! They do a great job. I've looked at it carefully. I watched 1000 shows and I stand behind my review. I love the show. Those who receive these wonderful makeovers need it they deserve it and they are truly being BLESSED!

This show winds me up big time. It's always a home owner with an already acceptable house. They all look like they could help themselves if properly motivated. I know people with awful mental health whom live in squat like conditions. And we never see them helped.

I also hate peter Andre but isn't my reason for wanting this show axed. Or improved to help people whom HAVE NO MONEY!

What is it with the ugly paint colors the Brits use! Purple, Royal Blue and Pink!!! Also the carpet they use is cheap looking. Does every Brit live in a shanty? They call are so small and horrible furntiture. Im watching it right now and want to vomit over the teal green paint. There has not been one so called designer that has any taste. I bet most surprised owners are so disappointed when they see the final result. I would be so embarrassed if that was may work and I called myself a designer. None of the furnishing match and usually the bedding is horrible especially when they use that shiney material on comforters and pillows. We have watch parties and just laugh at the results. In most cases, in would rather have the original look.

Are they joking? Professionals do this? Ugly finished products. I keep hoping that one makeover will be terrific, but no, all terrible. I wonder why. Anyone could do a better job. Lost interest in show. One needs beauty in one's life.
