Crazy Race

Well, this film just isn´t good, the story is always between average and sh*t and there aren´t any interesting or new things, everything in this film have been (most times much better!) in other films. So you can really forget this story, when i heard about a film with a great street race I thought "Hey, good actors, might be funny!" but well, it wasn´t!

The actors (most of them are pretty popular) don´t act good in this film but i don´t understand why great actors like Christian Tramitz, Ingolf Lück or Katy Karrenbauer do this! Most of them have done or are doing great films and series but why do the now act in this peace of sh*t? I don´t know an don´t wanna now, perhaps they needed the money but it must have been not much money because most of them showed nothing of their really acting abilities.

So my advice is: Don´t watch this film, at the beginning it sounds good but it just isn ´t!

My rating seems "overrated" but as kid this was one of my first movies i have ever watched. The story is ok to mid nothing to crazy like the title.

The best part about the movie is the bound between the Father and his child Tina. They both support each other without question what they are doing and the whole plott is about them saving each other.

Also the stunts and driving scenes are great but thats it. So why im rating this so high? Simple. Its an enjoyable movie. You dont need always a big deep story or some epic stunts. The characters and their problem are here the big roles. Each main character has its own problem and tries to win the race to "escape" the problems. They could be deeper but for this movie its perfect. It just fit perfectly in anyways. Its a cute Fast and Furious clone in germany, for germany i guess but without undercover cops.

Idk how much the costs where but i think it wasnt to much and for that it is a great movie.

When German TV execs are out of ideas, they do pretty much the same American TV execs do: they look across the pond, copy a successful format, add a few stars to sell it. Same here, this is supposed to be some kind of German version of Cannonball. Which might be a fun idea, really. Add some half decent actors, some comedians, a lot of sweet and wicked cars. Then have a comatose monkey write a script, have it shot with a budget spent entirely on renting those sweet cars, and there you have it: total and utter *I'm not allowed to say this here*. This film is so bad, you couldn't even make it worse. The characters are even flatter than those in Cannonball, otherwise good actors seem to be forced to act badly, there's all kinds of sideline stories that are even stupider then the main storyline, the sets are bad, the dialogues don't even deserve that name, whoever wrote this ought to have his artistic license removed. I demand those two hours of my life back, RTL Television!
