It's movies like these that makes you a Dileep fan. People keep telling me that films like Nadodikkattu, Pattanapravesham are one of the best comedy-genre movies, but any of those movies can't be compared with movies like Meesa Madhavan. I also don't think there are people who actually dislike this movie. Every character that the film wants us to remember forever, stays in heart forever. Characters like Meesa Madhavan, Bhageerathan Pillai, and Thrvikraman are the ones you never forget. The nostalgic film is what it is because of the jokes (that the people nowadays might have got offended by), Dileep's performance, all the humour sequences, memorable and punching dialogues, the mustache twitching scene, and of course, the amazing background score and songs by Vidyasagar. Truly nostalgic!

Only a few movies can be watched more than once, and a very few are enjoyed when we watch it for the tenth time, and this comes under the list of those very few movies.

If you are looking for a solid plot and a riveting story, this is not the movie for you for the plot evolves way late in the movie. The movie is filled with well etched characters and an entertaining script. It a comedy riot all the way peppered with very good songs. The movie revolves around one character on whose name the title of the movie is based played by Dilip.The humor and the story written to support it leaves the audience wanting for more.

One of the best Dileep films out there. This movie makes you love Dileep and hate Indrajith Sukumaran. I never liked Indrajith and I never will because he's creepy and his voice is annoying. I don't like Indrajith beating up Dileep, I like Dileep beating up Indrajtih. The scenes I hate is where Indrajith thrashes Dileep at the police station and where Dileep is falsely taken into custody for being wrongly accused of temple theft. However, Dileep one uped Indrajith by defeating him in the final fight. I only wish Dileep was a hero in real life as well. I was never a fan of Dileep when I was younger but as of recently, I like his works in retrospect. I will say I somewhat admired Dileep on screen back in middle school. But my favorite actor is Lalettan. It's amazing as to how this movie boosted Dileep to superstardom.
