Sreeman Sreemathi

A remake of Tamil Avargal . Here Srividya is an innocent girl in love with a musician Vijayan . He goes home to get his parents approval for their marriage and does not return back. All her letters go unanswered. Her father refuses to delay her marriage further to a rich man Soman . She also goes to Vijayan's house only to realize that he is now married . Sadly she returns back to her marriage hall to find her father dead due to shame .

She realises her mistake and goes to Soman to apologise and say that she's ready for marriage . She narrates her entire story . He accepts and both get married . Sadly it turns out that he married her only to avenge his humiliation at being left at the alter .

Her pleas and apologies go in vain . He inflicts mental torture after torture even after getting a son .

Unable to proceed further with him she leaves him and relocates to another town .

She gets a job and starts focusing on her career.

Out of the blue Bahadur comes and starts working as her house help.

Initially sceptic she is taken in by his good nature and gives him her house jobs .

He turns out to be loyal and caring .

Srividya chances upon Vijayan again in her neighborhood . She is aghast to hear his story. His retarded sister had stood in their way and also lied to Srividya that she is the wife to send her off . With her now dead, Vijayan is alone .

A happy Srividya and Vijayan again mend their fences and decide to marry .

Nagesh her colleague is her silent lover. He comes often to her house to help around and ward off her lecherous boss .

Very soon Soman reappears in her life as her manager . He being rich had bought her company . Initially he shows that he has softened and is now remorseful.

Thrilled at this change she decides for her sons sake to go back to him.
