Getting There

I enjoy watching the Olsen Twins movies. Unfortunately this is the worst movie they've made. (Even though I bought it to add to my collection). They really need to stay away from the "Ditsy-Valley Girl from California" rolls. If you are a MK and A fan then of course you'll need to see this movie. Just be prepared. They dont play the "cute and smart" characters they are used to but instead "cute and ditsy". They still have the style just not the brains. I'm sure they will probably be back to more quality roles in their next movie "When In Rome". I just pray they know to stay away from the ditsy roles and put some brains in these characters!

Alright everybody, First of all as far as this movie goes, I thought it was one of the best so far. Mary-Kate and Ashley have really become even more beautiful and talented as you can see in this movie, and they are really good at what they do.

Now for all the people out there who watch their movies and complain, why? They aren't trying to make across the board best sellers or win academy awards! Their movies so far are targeted for a young audience, and honestly, what they are doing is great! Their movies have good morals, entertaining stories, and laughs for kids. They prove that kids don't need violence or inappropriate humor to be entertained and, maybe even learn something about life.

You can't look at movies like these and criticize the girls for making a boring story or being bad actresses, especially if you are older! I mean the girls know who their audience is and they make movies to entertain kids! SO if you are older and you can't understand this, why watch it and then complain?!?

These girls have an amazing future ahead of them, they could probably do anything they want with their acting futures. And I respect them for the quality children's entertainment they have done so far. "Getting There" IS a fun movie for kids and older poeple willing to suspend their obviously more mature tastes to enjoy simple entertainment.

Okay, I admit, the Olsen twins are more for little kids then for serious movie buffs. I like their movies because they are clean and appropriate for younger children. These girls are better role models then Brittany Spears or Christina Aguliara. Getting There is one of my favorite movies that the Olsen Twins have made. I did notice lots of little goofs, but it is a B-list movie, so we can't expect perfection. I recommend this film for families that want to watch a wholesome film that everyone will enjoy. Anyone who is waiting for their driver's licence can relate too. I own it and have seen it about a billion times! Everyone makes fun of me because I like the Olsen Twins movies. At least I am not filling my mind with violence or sexual scenes.

I hate this movie so much. It's their worst one. The plot is pointless. It takes them forever to get there and when they do get to Salt Lake City, it's not a euphoric feeling that they finally reach their destination. My life as a teenager sucks so maybe why I have such animosity for this movie cuz their parents are allowing them to drive out of the state with other stupid teens. And don't forget that stupid girl in the movie. An absolute airhead. My goodness do I hate this movie. I don't recommend this movie.

This movie is no doubt the worst job they have ever done. The characters, pathetic, especially those dumb guys, and the plot... what plot? There's no worth wasting your time with this movie, and I hope people here do not see this stuff.
