Come Outside

I've watched this from a young age. My nana used to play it on the VHS player. Me and my dad still watch it when we have nothing to do. This show will always hold a place in my heart. Definitely one to show the kids.

Loved this show as a child. I still remember the lessons I was taught from this show, I.e. certain types of daffodils. Might not seem much but has definitely helped in the pub quiz

I remember watching this years ago when I was a kid, it was one of the best educational program I have seen, the main plot is Aunt Mable and pippin would go in there spotted plane and visit some where like a paper factory, and explain how it all worked!

I find Come Outside (1993) very wonderful and educational, Auntie Mabel is a very likeable character, Who is portrayed by the late Lynda Baron, and her dog Pippin is very likeable too, It has very good morals and life lessons, I'll give Come Outside (1993) a 10/10.

Come Outside is aimed at younger children of primary school age and each episode covers a different subject.

Auntie Mable and her dog Pippin usually visit a factory in her spotted aeroplane to see how a certain product is made and how we get it. The show also includes a song and animated sequence. It can even be educational for adults too!

Auntie Mable is played by Linda Baron, better known as Nurse Gladys Emanuel in the comedy Open All Hours, where she starred alongside Ronnie Barker. She also sings the Come Outside theme song.

The show is often repeated at regular intervals on BBC2, often in the morning.
