Author Max Ehrlich handled the screenplay for his own novel’s adaptation. Despite its quirky title, though, this movie is a rather surreal and sad, not to mention unpredictable viewing experience. The obsession with metaphysical matters seeped into ’70s cinema, and this trippy psycho-horror gem, one directed by J. Lee Thompson, is a valid reflection of that bygone trend.

Double vision? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stepped out for a romantic dinner in Paris last night wearing almost identical ensembles. The couple celebrated Jolie's 38th birthday at Il Vino in monochromatic black outfits which included mirror-image blazers, shirts and trousers. A new music video for 3Oh!3 "My First Kiss" single that features Ke$ha has finally been released. The three-minute clip made in support of the duo's first single off their upcoming third studio album, "Streets of Gold", takes a look of a lot of folks, including punks, teachers, sailors and lesbians, smooching.

The Isaac Ravishankara-directed video gives out occasional close-up of a pair of lips. Scenes wherein duo Nathaniel Motte and Sean Foreman bounce around and throw punches at the camera are also included. Aside from the twosome, their collaborator Ke$ha also makes an appearance in the bright-colored video.

Talking about the video, Foreman previously explained to MTV News that "the video is a play on kissing in general, and lips, and getting close up to a bunch of lips, and people coming out of mouths and just, like, really cool transitions." His group mate Motte chimed in,...

3Oh!3's "My First Kiss" music video which has a cameo from their featured guest Ke$ha was revealed. In match with the song theme, the music video shows off many people, from teacher to soldier and from sailor to rocker, locking lips with their lovers.

3Oh!3 previously collaborated with Ke$ha in "Blah Blah Blah". While "Blah Blah" appears in Ke$ha's debut album "Animal", the "First Kiss" is expected to be included in the band's upcoming third studio album "Streets of Gold" which is due in the U.S. on June 29.

In addition to teaming up with Ke$ha, Nathaniel Motte and Sean Foreman also line up Katy Perry and Cobra Starship to be involved in the making of the new release. They will make a duet with Katy in "I Know How to Say" and join forces with the Gabe Saporta-fronted band in "Double Vision".

The Australian Meg [Make-up Effects Group] FX team have been plying their trade for the better part of the last two decades, providing ever-excellent special makeup work for the likes of The Matrix, Feed, Man-thing, Nightmares And Dreamscapes, the Asian features Double Vision and Silk and many others (see a gallery at the end of this article). How’s this for a streak: Mainland Chinese film producers The Huayi Brothers are very likely the only production house in the world that can claim - at least claim honestly - that they’ve never had a film lost money. And that trend looks likely to continue with The Message, a darkly slick espionage thriller from Chen Kuo-Fu (Double Vision) and Gao Qunshu (Tokyo Trial) with Zhou Xun heading up and all star cast.

Activision, unwilling to skate by the holiday season with just "Guitar Hero 5" and "DJ Hero," is bringing one more rhythm game into your already rock-laden household before the year is out. "Guitar Hero: Van Halen" will be releasing on December 22nd, and features the musical stylings of Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang Van Halen along with the vocal insanity that is David Lee Roth. Sammy Hagar is, predictably, a no-show.

The game will follow the trend of "Gh: Metallica" and "Gh: Aerosmith" by including songs from not only Van Halen, but also other groups with similar musical style, including Weezer, The Foo Fighters and Queen.

Nothing on Twitch about this yet that I could see, so let’s play catchup – WWII espionage thriller The Message from Chen Kuo-Fu (Double Vision) and Gao Qunshu (Tokyo Trial) looks to be the next high-profile Chinese blockbuster. Mainland production giant Huayi Bros. are throwing money at it, along with an A-list cast (Zhou Xun, Li Bingbing, Huang Xiaoming, Wang Zhiwen), some pretty slick production design, an intriguing premise and lots of room for nationalist melodrama. Could be a classic, could just be an entertaining bucket of popcorn, but either way it’s looking very promising. TAIPEI, Taiwan -- American actor David Morse's nomination Wednesday for one of this year's Golden Horse Awards, which honor Chinese-language films, has sparked a dispute within the nominating committee and among members of the media over the matter of language. Morse was nominated for his performance in Columbia Pictures Film Production Asia's Double Vision, even though his dialogue is completely in English. The movie, helmed by Taiwan's Chen Kuo-fu, is the first Taiwanese film Columbia Asia has invested in since the worldwide smash Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Golden Horse executive committee official Ya-Mei Li admitted that the choice of Morse had been contested, but she said jury members found Morse's performance compelling enough to take a chance. She added, however, that "there are no rules about the language used by actors, only about the main language of the movie, and on that count, Double Vision conforms to the regulations."...
