If u r a 80s movies fan than this movie is for u. In starting of this movie there is a hostage situation scene, which makes u go in past & reminds you of the Dirty harry hostage scene. Shatrughan sinha as usual as he used to be in 80s action movies. Parveen babi as the leading lady. Vinod mehra good as always but in a cameo, his role is as a guest appearance. Ashok Kumar also in a positive, supportive but short role. Kader Khan as the main antagonist of this movie. Shakti kapoor as the side villian does justice to his role. And in all a surprise Amjad Khan in a positive & supportive role. If u want a action movie from 80s for a break then it will be a perfect one for u & ur family.

Chor police directed by veteran late amjad khan is a good film which was ahead of it's time. All characters are grey shaded. Kader khan's den is red colour which symbolises blood shed. Shakti kapoor, Narendra nath and gurbachan gets meaty roles to prove their talent. Even their characters are grey shaded. Gurbachan in most films plays henchman to main villain. He hardly has dialogues and interesting roles to play in other films but in this film he gets scope. That's great. Parveen babi is not the typical heroine. She is also grey shaded. Shatrughan sinha , vinod mehra, kader khan, amjad khan, bindiya goswami, nirupa roy, Mac mohan, kalpana iyer, actor playing kader khan's son and each other performers in the film has grey shaded character. It's strange and great that in 80's bollywood produced such a script where characters and script has grey shades. Direction by amjad khan is fine, screenplay is perfect, script is strong, location is convincing and performances by all actors are great. All in all a nice watchable thriller. This film should be remaked.
