Excellent movie which tells about the family values and togetherness. Great performance by Jeetendra. Soundtrack by Laxmikant Pyarelal is superb. Santosh Anand's lyrics are too good. Direction is also fine along with cinematography and editing. Must Watch.

How can rain be thirsty?? Well this is an idiomatic expression which has been defined by this film beautifully. Jeetendra plays this role distinctively. Chandrakant (Old Jeetendra) marries a rich girl (played by Moushami Chatterjee) but they have no house to live and jeetu has no job either. However he gets some job and soon establishes a huge business. Later he gets no time for his wife and son Ravikant (Young Jeetendra)and eventually Moushami dies of illness. This is Pyaasa Sawana all about. They had money, riches, son, love but still could not spend splendid moments with each other. Then a leap of 20 years Ravikant marries Reena Roy after falling in love with her and history repeats itself. Watch out what happens with this couple??? Will they have the same destiny as his parents had?

I would rate this movie as 9.6/10. It is a must see if you believe in love, affection, spending moments of love together and destiny. Soundtrack by Laxmikant Pyarelal is superb. Each song has some entertainment to give. Be it "MEGHA RE MEGHA" an excellent melodious number by Lata and Suresh Wadkar, "O MERE CHAMAK CHHALO" a romantic funny number by Asha and Kishore and "TERE SAATH HAI JO MUJHE KYA KAMI HAI ANDHERON MEIN BHI MIL RAHI ROSHNI HAI" a Lata's solo number which conveys emotions of married life is also worth listening. Santosh Anand's lyrics are too good. Direction is also fine along with cinematography and editing.

It is the same team of Jyoti bane Jwala, Jeetendra, Dasari Narayana Roa, Mausami, Vinod Mehra but this time same is different, This movie has very bold subject heart touching, deep emotions up & downs of life, Story revolves mistaken identity of Poor Jeetendra into the House of Rich business man Madan Puri, as their proposed Son in law soon after his arrival Mausami fall in love with him after reveal that he is not the person, they ill treated him but Mausami loves him & they married, after marriage they have nothing to eat but they share their love moments with each other, after hard struggling Jeetu becomes a rich business man & now he has no time for his wife, Mausami becomes ill & has limitations on food due to her health matters, Their son again a young Jeetu fell in love with Reena Roy & get married this young careless son hasn't realizing the hard earn money power, he spent money on unnecessary donations in the end he too realize the power of spending but in the way of earning money he neglect his wife, So now father involves & tell him that Family matters are too important in life,lot of scenes are very impressive like Mausami serving food in empty utensils, Old Jeetu meeting with Reena as young to know the reality, In my view it is 100% hearth touching family movie, It has super duper songs, romantic & sad. Mausami has given her best of best acting & delivered dynamic performance. Jeetendra acting is the highlight of this movie he 1st part a simple hard hard working person, 2nd an Oldman with full of real life experience 3rd a young rich careless son, Jeetu has Given full satisfaction to all 3 characters which he delivered very beautifully, he looks very handsome & his dressing sense & above all his hearth touching dialogue delivery were very impressive.

A complete movie with a message that MONEY is not but QUALITY TIME for a enriching Family life for Couples.
