‘The Good Wife’s’ Matthew Morrison Laughs Off Terrible Movie He Did With Christine Baranski
Matthew Morrison
Matthew Morrison joins “The Good Wife” this Sunday, but he and one of the show’s stars, Christine Baranski, have a past that the two would both rather forget. “I actually did a movie with her back in the day and I brought it up to her and she almost died laughing because I think it was the worst movie we’ve both ever been a part of,” Morrison told TheWrap. “It was called ‘Marci X,’ with Lisa Kudrow and Damon Wayans. We got a good kick out of that one.” Luckily, Morrison is far more excited about his role on the CBS series,...

फास्ट एन्ड फ्युरियस 6 (2013)
Was 2013 a Better Summer at the Movies Than 2003?
फास्ट एन्ड फ्युरियस 6 (2013)
It's finally Labor Day Weekend, which means the summer movie going season is officially closed for business starting this Monday. As summer winds down, and we head into September, many movie fans have made one thing very clear. They think this summer has been a complete wash! But is this summer any different than last summer, or the summer before that? How about a decade removed? Did we have bombs as big as The Lone Ranger, R.I.P.D. and After Earth ten years ago? (Yeah, we did, and it was called Gigli.)

We've decided to take a look at how this summer stacks up to a bygone era. Was 2003 a better year for movies? Or did we actually have it pretty good here in 2013 with Iron Man 3, Man of Steel and Elysium (just to name a few of the better one that have played out over the...

Matthew Morrison’s Gay Boy Band Past Revealed!
Glee star Matthew Morrison was mortified when Jay Leno showed clips of his early role as a singer in a gay boy band! Check out this hilarious video!

Matthew Morrison is best known for his role as the motivational music teacher of McKinley High on Glee, inspiring young teens to express themselves through music. When Matthew went on the Tonight Show this Wednesday to promote his new album, Jay Leno exposed a video of Matthew expressing his sexuality in a way we’ve never seen before!

“It was the gayest thing I’ve ever done in my life, literally,” revealed Matthew. “I was in a gay boy band in the movie called Boys R Us.”

Years before he was Mr. Shuester, Matthew was singing in a gay boy band for the movie Marci X! It seems that America’s favorite music teacher has always been gifted with melody, rhythm, and perfectly coiffed hair.

AfterElton Briefs: Matthew Morrison's Gay Boy Band, The Most Empowering Glbt Song, Darren Criss on The Warblers' Album, and More
George Takei and Patty Duke attended the official launch of their Social Security Administration PSA's yesterday. The short Star Trek-themed clips feature George in his Sulu uniform, and Patty as ... well, herself.. I think they missed an opportunity by not having Patty appear as her greatest character.

A poll by the U.K.'s Stonewall picked Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" as the most empowering Glbt song of the last decade, followed by Boyzone's "Better" and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." Can anything prepare us for the horror that will be Night of the Living Fred ... in 3-D? The Delaware Senate passed a bill today to legalize civil unions. It now goes to the state House where a vote will take place next Wednesday, and is expected to pass. You don't know how dirty I feel from having to go on the Fo ....Fo .... that one "news" network's site to get this clip,...

Noah Ringer in The Last Airbender (2010)
Is Last Airbender the Worst Movie Ever?
Noah Ringer in The Last Airbender (2010)
The Last Airbender is "dull," "dreadful," and, lowest of low blows, "like a Care Bears movie." Well, all right, hardly any movie gets perfect reviews. But has any film ever gotten so many bad reviews? The short answer is Battlefield Earth—meaning, yes, other films have been blasted good by critics. But, boy, oh boy, in Hollywood's summer of unloved movies, The Last Airbender, which opened Thursday, is getting some historic hate. As of this morning, its Metacritic rating stood at 20, "good" for a spot on the review-crunching site's all-time low scores list. (Airbender's down there between Digimon: The Movie and the Lisa Kudrow rap classic, Marci X.)...

Armond White At It Again: Hates on Multiple Award Winner Precious
Everyone's favourite contrarian [1] critic Armond White has once again made his presence felt this week, after delivering a scathing review of the Lee Daniels film Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. The movie, which hits select theatres this weekend, is riding a massive wave of Oscar buzz after picking up awards at Sundance, Tiff and the San Sebastian Film Festival earlier this year. (Last year's People's Choice Award winner in Toronto was Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire.) Precious is currently sitting at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes [2], so of course White doesn't like it. However, the fact that he gives it a negative review isn't all that surprising -- it's what he says about it that will blow your mind. "The hype for Precious indicates a culture-wide willingness to accept particular ethnic stereotypes as a way of maintaining status quo film values. Excellent recent films with black themes—Next Day Air,...

'Freddy' spree persists at boxoffice
Amid a late summer clearance of moderate to dismal new wide releases and a slew of limited engagements and expansions, New Line's slasher fantasy match Freddy vs. Jason made the cut once again. The horror film sat atop the boxoffice chart with an estimated $13.5 million intake. Freddy is the first film since 20th Century Fox's X2: X-Men United, released back in early May, to hold the top spot for two consecutive weekends. The R-rated horror film dropped 63% from its debut and has taken in an estimated $61.5 million in 10 days. Sony's S.W.A.T. was in the second spot with an estimated $10.8 million, slipping 40% in its third frame while the total inches closer to the $100 million mark with an estimated cume of $88.1 million. Screen Gems' The Medallion was the strongest performer among the new wide releases this weekend as the Jackie Chan starrer placed fifth with a respectable estimate of $8.2 million. Dimension's My Boss's Daughter debuted in the 10th slot with an estimated $5 million. The PG-13 rated comedy, starring Ashton Kutcher and Tara Reid, was at the high end of what was expected but was still not enough to write home about. The David Zucker-helmed picture had a per-theater average of a weak $2,272. And the opening of Paramount's Marci X was more in line with an ad campaign for its video release than a theatrical debut. The comedy, starring Lisa Kudrow and Damon Wayans, proved its very limited appeal with an estimated gross of $865,000 from 1,200 theaters, averaging a miserable $721 per theater.
