OK, I only saw only seven episodes of this show when I was a kid and I think I saw the part-two ending of the season, but as I saw the rest of the episodes including the crossover with the Lightspeed Rangers, I became amazed and while it isn't the best Power Rangers season, it's a much better season than Power Rangers Turbo and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (which I thought were decent, but had some of their weakest episodes). The dialog is OK, but some of the monsters are a bit stupid and annoying; although the villain Ransik is great due to his menacing presence. The story lines for each episode aren't the best, but they're very interesting in my honest opinion and some of the character arcs of the main characters made me feel for them. In fact, the characters are likable enough; the morphing sequences and the megazord battle sequences are great too; the strongest aspect would have to go to the theme song which is pretty catchy it has stuck with me ever since.
Overall, not excellent, but a great continuation to the saga!

I'd just like to say that the first time saw this (Which wasn't even on its debut) I thought this would be worse than Turbo... fortunately, they run these shows in reruns.
Not only was I wrong about the quality, but I was also wrong about the story.
It was actually good to see one of the first Power Rangers series where the teammates had to work to trust each other, and I'll say this about the second battle: they seemed a little repetitive until the Q-Rex was introduced.
The team-up episode was a little rushed, but the final episodes were an incredible watch.
All in all, it was pretty good, but not that good.
7/10

Time Force was one of My Favorite Seasons and it's the best power rangers series ever since the 1990s power rangers seasons
I like the rangers Wes and Jen and Eric are My Favorite Rangers and there's circuit the 2nd alpha and hes very cute and funny the acting was not bad Jason Faunt was the best actor since Austin St.John&Jason David frank
the Stroyline was Great the Quantum Ranger was so cool the Musics are Epic The Time Flyers look futuristic and they are unique from each other than color and they even had something to address the vulnerability during forming the Megazord.
the Megazords are Great cause the Time Force Megazords has 2 Modes
and Eric's Zord Q-Rex was awesome the Time Shadow was cool and so as the Shadow Force Megazord the Battlizers are Awesome
also Time Force has Awesome Episodes The Team up Episode was great but Vypra was Terrible and one of the best time force episodes was the last episode (The End of Time Part 3) it's great and exciting to watch
This Season has the Best Ranger Outfits and the Best Monster Outfits ever and it beats Lightspeed Rescue
Since Power Rangers in Space and Power Rangers Turbo and Power Rangers Zeo and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy Time Force was a Must Have for all the Power Rangers Fans and For the whole family
With Action Packed Fight Scenes and Great Music and Great Acting and Less Childish Scenes and Less references to Movies or TV Shows and Less Sound Effects from Cartoons This is A Big Kid Version of Power Rangers after the 3 Previous Seasons before that and RPM
Way more Superior to Power Rangers Samurai
So If you miss Mighty Morphin, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Zeo and Turbo then Time Force is what you need.

OK, it my honest opinion, it is the best standalone series. But looking from a professional view, there are some flaws. Of course every season has their plot holes. But time travelling only causes more holes.Add the Power Rangers 'logic' in and its a pretty non-logical plot. However, plot holes are made up with good acting, darker tones, and real life themes in the mix. Emphasise on the acting since PR rarely have good acting. For those old-timers, you should know how dark In Space was(dark in PR standards). Even with the plot holes I mentioned, the story is good. Excellent I'm willing to say.By far the second best for me.Those who want to get a break from the cheesiness of the usual PR series, check out Power Rangers Time Force.

This is like the Anti-Power Rangers. It's not light-hearted, the characters are not bland, the story is well written, and it's not acted poorly. It has a dark tone (as much as you can get with Power Rangers), the characters are all interesting and well developed, the story is very engaging, and the actors are really good in their roles. Every actor conveys a level of emotion that has never been seen in Power Rangers. It felt like a really good drama TV show mixed with Power Rangers. It also ends on a great note. Probably the only moment in Power Rangers to make you shed a tear. If you don't like Power Rangers and have never seen this show, give it a watch. I think you might be surprised. My only complaint is that this was one season long. I wish it had at least one more season. This is without a doubt the best Power Rangers show of all time. I love Mighty Morphin but from a critic standpoint, this is the best.

When Mighty Morphing Power Rangers debuted I was a huge fan and never missed an episode of that and Zeo. But then came Power Rangers Turbo and the kid who ruined it, Justin, and I stopped watching. Gladly it ended. I watched some episodes of In Space, Lost Galaxy, and Lightspeed Rescue, but then when Time Force debuted when I was 16, I started watching it and became a fan again, even though I'm 19 now but age in this case is just a number! Time Force a.k.a Murai Sentai Timeranger is the best in the Power Ranger/Sentai series. It has it everything: great fight scenes, powerful drama, great storyline, memorable characters. What made Time Force great was that it was darker than the other series. Especially when Ransik's past is revealed, who by the way is one of the best villains since Lord Zedd. The rangers were amazing as well: Wes the Red Ranger (Jason Faunt) developed over the series from a spoiled rich guy to a dedicated and hard working man and skilled fighter, Jen the Pink Ranger (Erin Cahill) was both a tough, focused ranger and a beautiful caring woman and the romantic relationship between her and Wes was great and was a reminder of the relationship between Kimberly and Tommy in Mighty Morphin. Trip the Green Ranger (Kevin Kleinberg) was funny, naive but loyal to the Time Force and a great fighter as well, Lucas the Blue Ranger (Michael Copon) was a cool and laid back ladies' man, but was also a dedicated ranger, Katie the Yellow Ranger (Deborah Estelle Phillips) was cute, funny, and sometimes bubbly and possessed great super strength, and Eric the Quantum Ranger (Dan Southworth) was an awesome 6th ranger and a total bad-ass! Circuit was an awesome ally to the rangers. Not only were there great heroes, there were great villains: Ransik (Vernon Wells) was a tortured soul and a very dangerous adversary, Nadria (Kate Sheldon) was funny, obnoxious, yet violently psychotic when in battle. And Frax was one of the most memorable and tragic villains. Koichi Sakamoto and Alpha Stunts did a amazing job choreographing the fight scenes. Time Force had some elements of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "Once Upon a Time In China", and "The Matrix". Time Force took the Power Rangers series to a whole new level.

This Season, man. Where to start?, this is literally, no lie, my favorite Power Rangers' Season, everything about it, favorite Red Ranger, favorite Female Ranger, favorite Villains, damn good Episodes, and over-all a very great Season. Let get into the Plot shall we.
In the year 3000, the world is filled with a whole different race than Humans known as "Mutants", which are often discriminated by Humans and are themselves Criminals/Terrorists in a single city with a Top crime Organization which is run by the most Strongest and Dangerous of them all, Ransik (Vernon Wells). Ransik attempts to both wiped-out Humanity and take over the World with all other Mutants but continuously failed because of the advanced Police System known as "Time Force", eventually Ransik had an Idea which was to use some Technology that can have him Time Traveled, eventually him, his Daughter Nadira, and a Cyborg named Frax, broke into a Prison filled with ton of other Mutants, in which the first Ranger of Time Force, Alex, arrived to stop them but was only then brutally beaten by Ransik, and then Ransik and his small gang succeed in Time Traveling by going back to the year 2001. Alex's fiancee and fellow Time Force Officer Jen, felt vengeful over Alex's dreadful Defeat which lead to her believing he wouldn't make it through his wounds, she and her fellow comrades, Lucas, Katie, and Trip, decide to followed Ransik and his crew back in time with them. As they all made it, they brought Morphers, including Alex's as they have to someone else that matched Alex's DNA, eventually they would come upon a young man who looks just like Alex and is no surprise he his Ancestor, a well-known Wealthy but kind-hearten individual by the name "Wesley Collins", they asked him to Joined and even told him their story, but he responses to it as Non-nonsensical, but eventually after discovering its true with Ransik and his Army beginning to attack the City, he reconsidered joining them and became the Red Ranger, with Jen being pink, Lucas being Blue, Katie being Yellow, and Trip being Green. As their mission of stopping Ransik and his own gang of Mutants progress, more problems occurred. Wes' former classmate and member of his corrupt businessman of a Father's new project "the Silver Guardians" (which are an advanced Police force to help take down the Mutants), Eric, who always was jealous of Wes being the one who have everything such as Money and Friends and spend less time working, as Eric was the opposite of that, but after finding out Wes' secret as well the same goes with his father, he searches for his own Powers and soon comes upon the Quantum Morpher and became the Quantum Ranger and helps the Guardians takes down Ransik and his gang as their new leader, but at times have a mixed relationship with both Wes and the other Rangers as always preferring solo. Soon all six Rangers sorta got along, and made it their way to stop their Baddies.
This season's first strength of Success is it's Characters, mainly Wes, Jen, and Eric, as well the two Villains Ransik and Frax. Wes was such a great character, as he shows such good relationships with Jen and Eric, as well his father, who originally wanted him to be a successful Businessman, running his main Company, Bio-Labs, but then rejects it and goes what he call his own Destiny, and Destiny is exactly what this particular season centers around. Wes' relationship with his Father progresses great in this season as the reason Wes turned against what was his Father's future, not his, because what Wes learns that all he truly cares about is Money, not others' lives, which is Wes' purpose obviously as a Ranger, which when after his Father learns what he didn't told him before (Being a Ranger), he requests him to be the new Leader of the Guardians as if saving the City is what he truly wants to do, but Wes obviously refuses as the Guardians as he knows are for Profit, unlike the Rangers, and it took for a while for him to Realize that his Destiny as a Ranger is the best thing he could ever do and soon admitted that to Wes. Wes' lecturing of finding his own Destiny is something I found quite impressive about his character, as he told this to Alex, who turned-out wasn't dead after-all and came back as a Leader and told that his supposed Destiny is working at Bio-Labs, which of-course he have the rights for his own Destiny and once coming back for his friends and bagged for his return as a Leader as it turned out Alex is nothing more than a Strict jerk of a Leader, he literally taught him the whole Destiny thing and soon Alex felt like he was wrong the whole time. Jen's character is what I found unique out of them all, as she a female leader, which is quite rare, and she got a quite interesting Relationship with Wes, it began with her being quite Strict to him as well the other Rangers, just like Alex who influenced her, but after Alex's arrival and Wes' lecturing to him, she developed more of a crush on Wes who beforehand, been having a crush on her, and wasn't fully reveal she have feelings for him until the Finale in which she and her friends (Except Wes) travel back to the year 3000, and learns about Wes' solo mission of saving the World from Ransik, and learns he succeeded but have died, this made Jen feel really guilty that she leaves someone she loves dearly and soon rejects Alex's proposal to her so she could motivate him to let them traveled back and prevent Wes' supposed death. Jen was a likable character all the way, and probably one of the most prettiest female Rangers ever, lol. Eric was an excellent interesting character, such a great development, started out as pretty much a Loser compared to Wes who ain't from a wealthy family and have to work so he can earned himself some goods, but still jealous over Wes' being the opposite as he already had all the money and barely have to do anything, but when discovering the Quantum morpher, his world was finally going to turned around by becoming quite an fascinating Ranger and more of a good developing story, as Eric by this time is fueled with Power which is something he always wanted but it didn't took him too long to realize that being a Ranger is not about Power but is saving the world from Evil, plus his relationship was also interesting to watch as Wes despite being from a rich background, does have feelings and wants to befriend Eric, but Eric being from an Unsuccessful background and therefore believes they don't fit, but by the finale in which Wes give Eric his speech that like what he said to Alex previously, changes Eric's views completely and he finally decides to fight along his side entirely. The villains in this season are quite sympathetic, especially Frax whose background and his final appearances were just sad to watch, as he used to be a kind and caring Human scientist who saves Ransik from a disease of that of another Mutant known as "Venomark" but Ransik, who beforehand became quite Selfish, shuns the Scientist's offer of kindness and destroy his entire Lab and leaving him there for dead, but as the Scientist is about to died, he uses his knowledge of Robotic technology to transformed into a Cyborg who was eventually be known as "Frax", and from then on Frax was shown to be a Cold-hearten and Narcissistic monster who felt vengeful over Ransik for destroying his original career, but by the finale in which Frax was captured by Ransik, long after revealing to him who he is, Ransik's changed daughter Nadira who knows about Frax's former self asked him about the rivalry between Humans and Mutants and how to stop it but carelessly reveals it impossible but after Nadira stated his former Identity, Frax then had a change of heart and had his former kind personality back and told Nadira that she actually can stops the Hatred Mutants have on Humans but was then reprogrammed before she can even have a change to learn more, this is what makes Frax's story arc quite depressing to watch as he was going back to his old self but lost it. Ransik on the other hand have a-bit of Sympathetic part of his story, in a story he reveal to Wes about what motivate him to hate on Humanity is that he part of a Chemical Accident just like all the other Mutants and was shunned by everyone around him based on his appearance, but soon became colder and colder with his Heart that he begun his career as a notorious Crimelord from the Future. Through-out the Series, we see Ransik as selfish as always but by the finale in which he finally learns by his now-good Daughter that Humans aren't all bad like he thought they were and soon surrendered, which lead to his story to continued in "Wild Force", which I won't get into until that review, and a interesting note, Ransik was the only Villain to not to be defeated in the history of the entire show, how amazing is that. Vernon Wells, who is an actor I recognizes well from "Mad Max 2" and "Commando", plays the character Ransik perfectly, showing how cruel he can be in episodes-after-episodes until the Finale, and his relationship with Frax was good as started out as a loose alliance to a great rivalry upon Ransik learning about Frax's past. His Loyalty to his daughter Nadira was at times amusing but shows the best amount of development he have in a Relationship beside Frax, and this was important as he hurts his Daughter in the finale, all because of his evil self, and this being a main reason of why he regrets his past actions. A-lot of Episodes from the premiere up to the Finale are just great, with "Force From the Future" being a good way to kicked-off a season and "End of Time" being what I think is second to "Countdown to Destruction" as one of the best Finales that this show delivers.
Over-all, if you never seen this series and even if you are a Power Rangers fan, which by-a-way, Shamed on you, totally check this one out, it just a fun, Interesting, Enjoyable, and Epic season.

This has got to be the best Power Rangers series ever. It's the most serious, great stories, great characters for the bad and good, and it's the most exciting. The only problem is, the acting isn't that great, but none of the Power Rangers series has great acting. Only very few actors like Jason Faunt, Erin Cahill, Edward Albert (Probably the best out of all the actors), Christopher Khayman Lee, and Amy Jo Johnson. This series is worth watching for everyone who is not a Power Rangers fan, and everyone who is.

What more could you want? The martial arts of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and the special effects and fight scenes similar to that of The Matrix. A great cast, soundtrack, and storylines are just some of the things that have made this 9th season of Power Rangers to be so successful than it's counter parts. In my opinion this season ranks up there with the very 1st season (MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS) and POWER RANGERS IN SPACE. It seems so much darker than it's counter parts with the exception of In Space. The secret romance between Wes and Jen has also made this a great season. I just wish that the TIME FORCE cast will be the WILD FORCE cast. I don't know about everyone else but this cast and season is awesome!

The show's tone is pretty unique compare to other seasons. It's number 2 on my list next to Dino Thunder because Dino Thunder's story is more interesting in my opinion but this show's story is good as well. The acting is very good, most power rangers season now a days have bad acting like for example Megaforce. The soundtrack is cheesy not going to lie but it's the product of it's time (the theme song is good though). Last but not least the characters are great, like Dino Thunder this show's characters are really good when it comes to background story (which I'm not going to explain here so watch the show. Sorry no spoilers). I wish Power Ranger seasons are more like this
(Edit) I'm currently watching Ninja Storm right now so as soon as I'm done with the season, I'll review it

Criminals from the year 3000 has come to take over 2001. Four Officers from the Time Force Police has tracked down the Time Criminals to stop them in their tracks. But, first need to recruit a new red ranger. Wes, the individual they recruit looks much like their friend, Alex, the leader of the team in the future. With the help of Wes, the Time Force Ranger will now have to fight Ransik and his gang of futuristic criminals. Many of the fights in the show parallaxes with the movie, The Matrix (you know that slow motion camera turning thingy where they dodge bullets and all that junk, which is kind of creepy). Power Rangers Time Force is based on the Japanese Sentai (Task Force) Series, "Merai Sentai Timerangers," which ended its season run late last year. In Japan, they already have a new Ranger-like show called 100 Beast Gaoranger (don't know the Japanese title, which I will guess that Saban has plans on redoing in 2002).
*Take note after the corniness of the first four seasons of the Power Ranger series, Saban has finally decided to base some (but not much) of the American Power Ranger plotline on its Japanese Sentai counterparts (in which, Japan shows somewhat more corniness in their Sentai series more than their American counterparts).

Power Rangers Time Force is a fantastic power Rangers series with great performances from Jason Faunt Erin Cahill Kevin Kleinberg Michael Copon Deborah Estelle Philips Dan Southworth and Vernon Wells.
The show also has a great story the show is very self-aware.
I also thought I five main characters had great chemistry together I also enjoy the love story between Jason Faunt and Erin Cahill.
I also thought Vernon Wells played a pretty good villain.
I also thought the show had quite a few emotional moments, especially in the last 3 episodes of the show. And I thought the show had pretty good humor and entertaining action sequences and a pretty great score.

I just wanted to see complete childhood wish of watching all power rangers once . I started this as normal this was the one close to heart as an adult. Acting was surprisingly good by Wes (Jason Faunt) and Jen(Erin Cahill) Faunt brings a charismatic charm to Wes, gradually transforming him from a carefree rich kid to a responsible leader. IJen is equally commendable, portraying her as both strong and vulnerable, with a dedication to her duty that adds depth to her character. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their evolving relationship forms a poignant backbone for the series. Was surprised nobody made it big This one had best character arc out of all character including villian. Most emotional one and will leave you wanting more.

No doubt about it, Time Force is clearly THE best in the franchise since Mighty Morphin Power Rangers way back in 1993! PR peaked during Space but dropped alot during Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed. But I would consider TF to be a comback for the show. It's not perfect acting, but probably the best ever in the show. The plots are good, and quite a bit of humor aswell!
I only saw the first 2 seasons or MMPR, and started to watch TF in 2002. Now that I've seen much of all the seasons, I can only say none have been as good as Time Force. It's much more mature now than the show used to be. So even if you aren't a PR fan, this might be worth watching. Surly Power Rangers can't be considerd a really good show, but it's fun to watch.

I can only express it this way: this series was, is, and will always be the greatest season of Power Rangers of all time ever, and my favorite season of Power Rangers of all time ever.
*"It was perfect. Perfect. Everything down to the last, minute detail. That's why it's THE GOAT, baby!!!! THE GOAT!!!!"*
Thank you for those short clips, YouTube. They perfectly embody and represent the masterpiece that is Power Rangers: Time Force.
Power Rangers: Time Force was, is, and will always be a masterpiece, perfect, and THE GOAT!!!!
I wish we got Season Two and the movie, because I wanted more Power Rangers: Time Force. And more Wes and Jen: my OTP Power Rangers couple.

I was a fan of the original rangers back in the day. Like most I'm sure I was awed by the zords, and Tommy's kick ass demeanor. I watched from season 1 up to the end of lost galaxy, then I drifted away. I think I caught a few episodes of Lightspeed Rescue, because I remember the red ranger of that generation. But primarily, this is when I started watching a lot of prime time, CSI and 24 to name a few. Then the other day I caught the last 3 mins of the finale of Lightspeed Rescue on toon Disney. The following "Power Rangers Generations" episode was the season premier of Time Force, and instantly I was 10 again, and learned there is no price on nostalgia. While what a person looks at as good when they age changes,(zords are cool as kids, story is more important when older)one still can't help but be in awe. This season had something the subsequent seasons after Mighty Morphin didn't have. Now while I remember seeing a few of these episodes, more so just because I recognized the Red and Pink rangers, and how the series premier part 1 ends, it is fun to watch these again and remember what it was like to be young and easily entertained for 30 mins. All in all this is a good season, and I like many having learned the ending accept that it was a very good ending to a PR series, I still wish that it would have been a bit different. When you see it,I'm sure you will agree.
