Stealing the name from the Patrick Swayze classic, John Stagliano fashions a romance that's rather personal -set in the world of dance. He even co-stars in it.
Movie is styled as a vehicle for a lovely starlet Valentina, who only made a handful of adult videos. She's an aspiring ballet dancer, and we see her being taught by Staglliano, a swing dance instructor Buddy Love and a personal trainer Scott Irish. Main subplot concerns Bob Fosse wannabe Stagliano and his dance partner Porsche Lynn arguing about how they can make ends meet on the paltry income of their profession. Everybody has plenty of sex, including Valentina with her boyfriend Blake Palmer, leading to a party that degenerates quickly into an orgy (sans Valentina). Finale has Stagliano and Valentina making love in the dance studio - open ending indicates he may have found a new dance partner to replace Porsche.
This represents a period in Stagliano's career when he was still trying to make real movies (story/characters) before his Buttman success drove him to all-sex fame and fortune. It's watchable, but suffers from his own ego-tripping here, showcasing his own dance moves at the expense of Valentina's story.
