In an Athens neighbourhood, a grocery store owner and his assistant have fallen for the block's belles. Unaware that the ladies only have eyes for their secret sweethearts, the ambitious suitors must kick it up a notch to stay in the game.

Love is in the air in a bustling Athens neighbourhood. Pandelis, the respected owner of a cosy grocery store, harbours deep feelings for Litsa, the block's belle. But his outspoken assistant, Zikos, also carries a torch for Fifika, Litsa's sassy best friend. Unbeknownst to them, the ladies only have eyes for bosom buddies, Kitsaras and Argiris. As the ambitious admirers indulge in cloudless romantic fantasies, Zikos and Pandelis are about to have a rude awakening. They say money can buy anything, yet love is another story. But the heart wants what it wants. And when the girls' secret sweethearts crash Litsa's birthday party, the deluded suitors must kick it up a notch to stay in the game. This classic Greek comedy revolves around the constant fights between Zikos who works as a clerk at a small grocer's shop and the shop's owner. Zikos just can't keep his mouth shut every time his boss behaves as being an aristocrat.
