Tired of putting up with his good-for-nothing nephew Antonis' shenanigans and his stubborn reluctance to finally settle down, the hard-working and self-made grocer, Charilaos Toukouras, decides to take matters into his own hands. Intent on marrying him off to a nice girl who's more to his liking, Charilaos picks out an exciting personal ad, and takes his irresponsible nephew to meet with the beautiful wife-to-be, Roula; however, there's been an uncomfortable mix-up. Now, Charilaos and Roula's financially hard-pressed brother, Fotis, seem ready to seal the deal, unbeknownst to them that both Antonis and Roula are secretly in long-term romantic relationships with their patient sweethearts.
