The usual stuff...

This is a soap with all the usual plot lines. Affairs, conflicts, business run by bad guy challenges business run by good guy, kidnappings, silly romances, lost sons, and so on... Ideal for brainless bored housewives, garbage to anybody else. If you're into stuff like this, watch it, if you're not (like me) avoid it at all costs.

A great soap opera

A classic, but yet modern, and very well-made soap, made by good old Wikander and Falck. We follow the life of "Hotel Caesar" in Oslo, Norway, from the president on top, to the cleaning ladies down in the lobby. The series has a certain touch of "Dynasty" to it, and has good storylines (not too complicated, and not too boring).

A poor soap opera with poor characters and poor "storylines"

Hotel Cæsar is a series which is REALLY POOR. It is about a hotel in Oslo called (who would have guessed) Hotel Cæsar. The intrigues are so stupid, it`s hard not to laugh at it. All the actors deliver poor performances, and the whole thing is just bad. This will become a cult-series in the future(it should be it now), where people watch some episodes just to laugh at the incredibly low quality of the series.

i do not agree

I do not agree with the previous "red alert - avoid at all cost" review. for a soap, it's not bad at all.. i mean, there are scores of australian soaps and boring hi-school soaps out there.. but Hotel Cæsar has something special to it.. Murder, sex, intrigues (both sexually and economical), corruption, beautiful girls.. you name it. I didn't like it at first, but i started to watch it a little while i was eating dinner.. and now, i'm an addict! Mind you, i'm not the type of guy that watches soaps, but i really like this one. The actors ain't that bad either, with a couple of exceptions of course. My personal favorite is Arne - a nymphomaniac preacher with just as much love for God as for cash and women.

Very good

This SoapOpera is probably the best soap I have ever seen. The intrigues are exiting, bad acting, terrible actors, but you get this urge to watch the next episode. And all the small plots are exciting etc. Very good.
